Ok, trying to find this song I heard, but absolutely cannot remember the name, or even the lyrics.

It's like classic rock I believe. Mentions some celestial body near or in the beginning, like the moon or stars.

For some reason reminds me of another song i heard that goes, 'Sometimes the snow comes down in june, sometimes the sun goes round the moon'. That's definitely not it though.

It's not Rocketman or Ground Control/Space Oddity/Major Tom, etc.

I know this is a slim lead, but any ideas?

The song you actually mention the lyric for is "You always save the best for last" by Vanessa Williams, but I'm struggling to think of something that sounds similar with a moon or star reference near the start... :smallconfused:

Is this it?
Astronomy Domine by Pink Floyd (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5Tne92jfxo) some old school Syd Barrett Pink Floyd would definitely count as classic rock.

Oddly enough, Googling that exact phrase (in quotes) gave it to me.

Can you remember the sound of the song? Did it use alot of synths, electric guitar or acoustic? What were the vocals like, energetic, laid back, high pitch? Anything you can tells beyond "classic rock with lyrics involving celestial bodies" would help narrow the search.

"N.I.B." by Black Sabbath, perhaps?

"I can give you those things you thought unreal.//The Sun, the Moon, the Stars all bear my seal."

I think that Classic Heavy Metal counts as Classic Rock.

You might want to re-read his post--he said that song *reminded* him of the one he's trying to find out, not that it *was* the one he was trying to find out!

Astronomy by the Blue Oyster Cult perhaps?
