Okay, 672 tempts me. It's heartwarming to see V and Blackwing make up, and there's the tantalizing world-thing. But 674 is hilarious, and it has heartwarming as well: "Blackwing... shall accompany me in this task as he has for all others. Long have I neglected him, but that is now concluded.
Therefore, 674.

#672, for two big "OMG" moments in a row: Blackwing speaking Common and the reveal of the planet. Plus there's just a certain serene yet ominous quality that the comic never really did before.

I love the bit of the exchange between O-Chul and Varsuuvius we see in 671, but I have to go for 672 in this round.

As much as I liked the end of the story arc, it just brings back bad memories of the hiatus. 675 was a nice light hearted comic, easing us back into a (somewhat) regular update pattern.

Do you see what happens, Rich, when you go away for a month? The Sticks Awards doesn't get to the second page, and I'd have liked to see whether 675 could have maintained its momentum to challenge 672 for the win. Surprised 671 doesn't get a single vote and 673 and 674 get two apiece. 671 may be a one-note strip, but is 673 substantially better?
676 should get some support from the humor crowd, but so will the Vaarsuvius strips, especially Blackwing's distraction in 677. 678 will get some support for the other wizard's ruse, but it's the runt of the V strips, especially compared to V's character development in 679. I consider that the favorite with 676, 677, and what we learn about the Western Continent's geopolitics in 680 fighting for second.
