Rapidshot and +6/+1 BAB

Would an archer with a BAB of +1/+6 and the feat rapdishot get 2, 3 , or 4 attacks and how would it all work(which take the -2 from rapidshot)?

With a BAB of +6/+1 if you use Rapid-Shot you would make 3 attacks as full-attack and they'd be at +4/+4/-1 (+your other modifiers such as Dex, Point Blank Shot, Weapon Focus, and magical weapons).

What he said; Rapid Shot only gives you one extra attack in a round, regardless of how many attacks you already get.
