Out of curiosity does anyone have the 3.5 Kara-Tur book (http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y178/MarkusTay/?action=view&current=NewCover2.jpg&&mediafilter=images) in pdf form? Its out of print, I can't find it even on Ebay and I would very much like a copy.

The image is broken. Is Kara-Tur the title?

Edit: I thought Kara-Tur was worked into Oriental Adventures? If you give me the exact name of the supplement I could probably find it, even if I'm not entirely sure what it is.

Sorry I just caught that it was broken. Its the 3.5 Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting Kara-Tur book. I can only seem to find the AD&D edition.

Edit: I replaced the original image url with the one that actually has the image.

i'm fairly sure it doesn't exist. it is not on the forgotten realms publication lists, and that cover looks highly faked

That is fake. I mean, "Brilliant Yet Sexy Mark M. Taylor"? Seriously?

Heh, thanks for saving me the time. My computer's got a hiccup where it whitescreens if the page I'm viewing uses too much black, so barely got a good look at the title.

So there isn't a Kara-tur book for 3.5? Interesting...thanks for giving me the heads up.

That is not a real publication. I have all of the 3.0/3.5 forgotten realms books and that isn't among them.

The book you posted is pretty obviously a photoshop ("Brilliant Yet Sexy?" You can tell by more than just the pixels). The Samurai and Ninja image is from the AD&D cover of Kara-Tur, which is indeed a real book.

The only Kara-tur named book is for AD&D 2nd ED. I have it in PDF.

Well what a nuisance. I'm compiling a D&D Faerun atlas of sorts printing out the continental maps that have the high detail with roads and city places and I was hoping for a full map of the Shou regions. Right now my map is incomplete and I was hoping that a Kara-Tur book would have the filler I need...

I also have the Trail Maps for Kara-Tur as well in PDF.:smallcool:

Hey, while this topic is here, I have a side question: does anyone know if Greyhawk has an equivalent (or similar) country/region to Kara Tur?

There's a big map (http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/File:Shou_Lung.jpg) of Shou Lung on the Forgotten Realms wiki, although I don't know who made it. Below is a smaller version.

Kara-tur used to be the western part of Oerik before it was moved to the Forgotten Realms setting.

If you're looking for maps, they might be in the 2nd ed. book.

I think the OP is looking for something more along the lines of 3rd edition style maps.

FYI, the maps of Kara-tur were made by Markustay. There are some more maps at his online gallery (http://markustay.deviantart.com/gallery/).

I'm not sure if this is particularly useful, but the fake book image is on Markustay's photobucket. Maybe he made his own map book or something.
