Hello Playgrounders,
Below is a link to a speech by Jim Valvano given a short time before he passed away from cancer. It is a great speech and very uplifting and he speaks briefly about supporting his foundation and cancer research, a topic close to my heart since I lost my grandmother to the disease and my dad has fought/is fighting it (which probably means it's in my future as well).
Please take 10 minutes out of your day and listen to a great speech. If you can, support disease research, monetarily if possible, other ways if not. It doesn't have to be V foundation, it doesn't have to be cancer, but give back if you can.
