Ahem, although I hate to spoil the, ah, momentum, I had a counter back when our stuttering friend here made his move. I cast Skill Drain when Xex is summoned, preventing him from dumping, and thereby from reviving, Yagan. I know this causes some issues, but that's what happen if you don't wait, I suppose.

(Skill Drain sounds good to me. This would only mean that Yagan was not summoned, and everything else would stay the same, unless dragonsamurai changes his moves.
Question: Can you use your partner's monsters for Xyz Material? The rules allow them for Tributes and Synchro Material (I think). Also, can I tribute my partner's monsters for Tyrant's Desperation?)
