Assuming that the prerequisites stay the same (except ability prerequisites, which get bumped down by 5) would this ruin game balance?

Also, would the Epic Weapon Special Abilities enhancement bonus value being dumped down by a value of 3 break it?

What about a similar -2 to the value of Epic Armor weapon enhancements?

Ban epic spellcasting (and/or increase the req even more) and it shouldn't be too bad at all.

I played a melee one campaign. To prove epic feats were meh for non spellcasters I chose normal feats into epic levels....and did better.

For a low-op campaign, epic feats are generally worth about 2x nonepic feats (in some cases exactly 2x, like with the save boosters.)

In high-op it matters less. That's because there are many many more nonepic feats than epic feats (and less optimization thought has been given to the epic feats), and thus the 'best' combos tend to pivot on nonepic feats anyway (like the ubercharger's use of shock trooper, leap attack etc.).
