Is anyone in the Playground doing research on/studying Discrete Mathematics, specifically map and graph theory? It's a topic I'm interested in, and I'd like to have a discussion about it.

There's a 0.999 chance I'm studying statistics now, but that's about it.

Well, I took a couple of Discrete Mathematics courses last year. Just very basic stuff, mostly. I actually rather liked it, much more than any other math class I've taken. Graphs are easy, and they actually interested me a lot. Plus, finite-state loops came up a lot in my programming classes, so I actually had to pay attention.

Oh, really? That's pretty much why I'm looking into it as well. I'm considering either a double major or a minor in Computer Science, and after seeing Discrete Mathematics was a required course I did some research, and, well, now I'm here! So what were some of the main focuses of the course?
