Summoner/Swiftblade

Assuming a swiftblade qualifies by simply being able to cast haste like the designer intended (I believe it has a quote in the Swiftblade handbook) would a pathfinder summoner work as a good entry in the PrC thanks to qualifying at lvl 4?

It gets a good selection of spells, with an excellent selection of buffs and casting in light armor as well as decent hp and medium bab and access to flanking buddies (eidolon, summon monster)

However, they have a small number of spells/day, no way to get high level spells, and they lose out on the amazing summoner class features.

So what does the playground think, is the summoner a better entry for a swiftblade than the standard wizard/sorcerer?

I would say not. Your spell casting will be hurt by lack of spells and your summoning abilities will be worthless. You give up too much and gain little if anything. It would be better if you pick another class I think.
