This long-running imp (does he have a name?) seems to have an impressive repertoire of zappy spells. Would this be a function of class levels or some kind of bonus due to being Z's familiar (from feats etc.)?

Also, seeing as the raven seems to sensibly be taking full defense actions (as there's no way it can get through the imp's DR), and thus to have a touch AC of 18 (with a rather higher normal AC due to a hefty natural armour bonus), on top of improved evasion and V's save bonuses, how long do you think it can last? Would its SR (5+ V's level) make a difference?

His name is Qarr (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0509.html).

And he mentions that he is also a pretty good sorcerer (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0625.html), so he's obviously just casting sorcerer spells here. I'd say a function of class levels.

Blackwing (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0154.html) is still alive because the Giant doesn't want to kill him AND kill Mr. Scruffy in the same story.

And before anyone gets excited, no Mr. Scruffy hasn't died yet. He's just in very mortal danger against a high level Ranger he has no chance against unless he can get to Belkar.

You doubt the Scruffinator? You (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNitT8zcbuw) must (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCMC4J8wqOw&feature=related) die (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6oy5V6_iGk&feature=related)!

Metropolice? Is that you? [/reference to old forum]

But yeah, the Scruffinator is going to be a pelt if Belkar doesn't realize something's up.

I'm sure Mr. Scruffy has a few tricks up his paw.

And also, because he has a +8 natural armor adjustment, and V's saving throws and buffs, and Improved Evasion. High-level familiars are supposed to be hard to kill.

It'll take quite a number of them to bring down Blackwing. Magic missile still has to beat spell resistance, and if he rolls max damage (5d4+5) it's still only 25. I know wizards don't have much HP, but Blackwing has half of V's level... what is it now, 15? Half of V's max HP, while V is of a very high level.

Sadly, I have no idea what your talking about, I just wanted to see if I got the insert link code right. However, the Scruffinator finds your lack of faith (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI8GEidaMMI) disturbing, and for that you will die!:smalltongue:

Ah, he was an old spammer on a forum I hung out on a while back that used to post tons of vids like the ones you linked.

And you can have as much faith as you want, but Mr. Scruffy is just a cat and...*coughs*...he can't...*begins choking and gasping from lack of air*...survi-
