Okay here i go. i have been working on these for a couple of months now and i felt it was time now to post them on these forums. i have created two prestige classes specifically for Yuuzhan Vong players as i felt the Shaper PrC in one of the supplement books didn't quite gave the species enough diversity.

Anyway, without further ado, i give you the Priest and the Warrior. Please offer advice on how to improve them.

PRIEST
In Yuuzhan Vong society, the priest caste holds a position of prestige that both supersedes the normal hierarchy of authority and is interwoven with it. Yuuzhan Vong priests know the will of the gods, and the will of the gods drives the Yuuzhan Vong. While rare priests have been known to take advantage of this exclusive relationship, for most part they guide the Yuuzhan Vong people to a better way of life.

EXAMPLES OF PRIESTS IN STAR WARS
Dooje Brolo, Elan, Harrar, Ma’Shraid, Tu Shoolb

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify to become a priest, a character must fulfil the following criteria.
Minimum Level: 7th.
Species: Yuuzhan Vong.
Trained Skills: Deception, Persuasion.
Talents: At least one talent from the Inspiration talent tree (see page 43 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook).

GAME RULE INFORMATION
Priests have the following game statistics.

HIT POINTS
At each level, priests gain 1d12 hit points + their Constitution modifier.

FORCE POINTS
Priests, like all Yuuzhan Vong, never gain Force Points.

CLASS FEATURES
The following are the features of the priest prestige class.

DEFENCE BONUSES
At 1st level, you gain a +4 class bonus to your Will Defence and a +2 class bonus to your Fortitude Defence.

TALENTS
At every odd-numbered level, you select a talent. The talent can be selected from the Influence talent tree (see page 43 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook), the Priest talent tree (see below), or the Vong Deity talent tree (see below). You must meet the prerequisites (if any) of the chosen talent. No talent can be selected more than once unless expressly indicated.

PRIEST TALENT TREE
You are gifted at preserving the faith in others, taking it to new heights by any means possible.
Act of Faith: If an ally within your line of sight has gone -2 or more down the condition track, you can surrender a move or standard action to grant that ally an additional +2 die on damage rolls on their next turn.
Prerequisite: Inspire Faith.
Authority: Your standing within the priest caste is absolute, and as such you gain a +2 class bonus on Persuasion checks made to acknowledge yourself as a high-ranking member of the faith.
You may select this talent multiple times; each time you do, you gain an additional +1 bonus to Persuasion checks (to a maximum of +5).
Inspire Faith: As a standard action, you can inspire all allies within your line of sight that their beliefs can sustain them through adversity, granting them a +3 morale bonus to their defences and a +3 morale bonus on attack rolls. Once inspired, your allies don’t need to remain within line of sight of you. You can’t inspire faith in yourself.
Worldwise: When travelling from one planet to another, you study the native languages and customs. You gain a bonus equal to one-half your class level (rounded down) on all Knowledge (galactic lore) checks.

VONG DEITY TALENT TREE
You are greatly connected with a Vong god, and reap the benefits of serving and worshipping that deity.
(Note: only one talent can be selected from this talent tree.)
Yun-Harla: The trickster goddess grants a +3 bonus on Deception checks made to use on all aspects of the skill.
Yun-Ne’Shel: As a worshipper of The Modeler, you gain a +3 bonus on all Mechanic checks made to craft bioengineered weapons and armour.
Prerequisite: Biotech Expertise.
Yun-Shuno: The Pardoner grants you the gift of healing. As a standard action, you can heal the hp of a severely ill Shamed One within your line of sight by sacrificing your own. The amount of hp you give up gets transferred into the selected Shamed One.
Yun-Txiin and Yun-Q’aah: The lover gods grant a +3 faith bonus to all Defences during combat. The bonus is not applied outside the battlefield.
Yun-Yammka: As a worshipper of The Slayer, you gain a +3 bonus to attack rolls on one weapon of your choice from the following list: Amphistaff, Razorbug, Thudbug, and Tsaisi. The bonus is only associated with that type of weapon and no other.
Yun-Yuuzhan: As a worshipper of The Creator himself, you gain a +3 bonus to damage rolls on one weapon of your choice from the following list: Amphistaff, Razorbug, Thudbug, and Tsaisi. The extra damage is only associated with that type of weapon and no other.

PRIEST LORE
Your ability to uphold the faith is beyond recognition. Because of this devotion, you gain a bonus equal to one-half your class level (rounded down) on all Deception and Persuasion checks you make with regards to promoting the Yuuzhan Vong faith, regardless of complications.

MODIFY
At 4th level, the priest is expected to receive her first modification from a shaper. By accepting the modification, the priest has honoured the gods; however, refusing to go through with the painful ritual will make other members of the caste look upon the priest with severe suspicion; even resulting in demotion.

WARRIOR
The warrior caste is one of the largest castes of the Yuuzhan Vong, and it is believed by many to be the most favoured of the gods. Warriors are the ones who are charged with actually making it possible for the rest of Yuuzhan Vong society to continue its ascent toward the divine.

EXAMPLES OF WARRIORS IN STAR WARS
Chine-kal, Kahlee Lah, Liaan Lah, Malik Carr, Nas Choka, Nom Anor, Qurang Lah, Shedao Shai, Tsavong Lah, Yomin Carr

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify to become a warrior, a character must fulfil the following criteria.
Minimum Level: 7th.
Species: Yuuzhan Vong.
Feats: Armour Proficiency (light, medium), Weapon Focus (amphistaff or Tsaisi).
Talents: At least one talent from the Awareness talent tree (page 49 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook) and one talent from the Weapon Specialist talent tree (page 51 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook).

GAME RULE INFORMATION
Warriors have the following game statistics.

HIT POINTS
At each level, warriors gain 1d10 hit points + their Constitution modifier.

FORCE POINTS
Warriors, like all Yuuzhan Vong, never gain Force Points.

CLASS FEATURES
The following are the features of the warrior prestige class.

DEFENCE BONUSES
At 1st level, you gain a +3 class bonus to your Fortitude Defence, Reflex Defence, and Will Defence.

TALENTS
At every odd-numbered level, you select a talent. The talent can be selected from the Military Tactics talent tree (see page 221 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook) or the Weapon Master talent tree (see page 211 of the Saga Edition Core Rulebook). You must meet the prerequisites (if any) of the chosen talent. No talent can be selected more than once unless expressly indicated.

WEAPON DAMAGE
Your skills with weapons are greatly sharper than that of other prestige classes. You gain an increase in die damage equal to one-half your Warrior level.
For example, an amphistaff in quarterstaff mode deals 1d6/1d6 die of damage. At 2nd level, the damage increases to 2d6/2d6, 3d6/3d6 at 4th level, and so on.

I'm in the process of making a third Prestige class for Yuuzhan Vongs called the Intendent. I should have it up within the week so keep your eyes peeled.

If anyone is running a Star Wars campaign, i'm very happy to allow them to playtest these prestige classes. If you do, inform me of any drawbacks or faults and i will correct them.

Thank you

does anyone have any thoughts or opinions? Or any advice on how to improve them?

Two things I notice; First the Priest has a higher Hit die than the warrior, any special reason? Second, the increasing weapon damage caused a bit of a problem in Revised edition. On that, I don't think any other class gains extra damage, and in a system were damage is pretty much set and doesn't scale up with you, that's a pretty big change. Though i have to double check on that as I don't have the books in front of me now.

thanks for your advice. I decided to give the priest a higher hit die than the warrior because the warrior can defend himself, the priest can't, so the priest gains more hp to make up for it.

As for the increase damage i thought it was a good feature, and one fitting for a race who are bloodthirsty on the battlefield. Im open to ideas on how to improve the classes, so any more help will be great.

I just thought of this new idea. instead of the Warrior gaining an increase in weapon damage at each even-numbered level they gain a bonus to attack rolls equal to one-half their Warrior level. i wanted to run this past you guys first before i make the change (if you agree with it or not, that is).
