After reading the Little Red Raiding Hood (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872838/Little_Red_Raiding_Hood:_A_Tale_of_38;_Guide_to_th e_3.5_Dragoon) guide on the power of an actual 3.5 dragoon, I was instantly hooked on the idea of making a character around it. However, I then saw the Swiftblade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/prc/20070327) class, and couldn't help but want to try and combine the two. My answer came in the eighth build in the guide, the Trancer, but I'm at a loss on how to effectively combine the Trancer concept and the Swiftblade, or if the damage potential is anywhere near the original builds. I know tossing Eldritch Knight and Spellsword are simple options, but I'm stuck after that. I'd love to fit all 10 levels of Swiftblade somehow, but I don't know if its viable.
Race suggestions would be nice too. We allow level adjustment buyoff, so I was considering either Half-Mintotaur or Shadow Raptorian (I'd like to get away from dragon races if possible). Both templates together are only +3 LA, so I could still buy it off by 18, but I don't think I want to be that many levels behind for the game.
So, mighty optimizers, I come to you in hopes that you can help me out! Let the Time Dragoon live!
