Does anyone know of any spells with an incredibly large area of effect (Mile/per level of bigger) that does damage? (I am aware of the spell Apocalypse from the Sky by the way. :smallcool:)

As for the question...your options are AFTS or any variant of the Locate City Bomb, really. Don't think there are any else.

Yeah, I am familiar with the bomb, I managed to re-equip it for fell drain, which if used in a built up area....

Apocalypse from the Sky is really the only thing I can think of, which has a truly ridiculous area.

10d6 sonic damage to everything over 125664 square miles (or, 9/10 of Germany roughly)? Yes please.

That is truly excellent distance, but I only would need it to be roughly a mile in length.

Basically, the whole purpose of this is that I am working out how to create what is effectively a zombie apocalypse with wights, using the fell drain metamagic feat and a large area effect spell. After a certain point it would just spread, as wights make more wights. (This is more of a mental exercise of RAW use, I don't think any of my PC's will ever use it. :smallwink:)

You can use Fimbulwinter (from Frostburn) for this purpose if you can get them out of the AoE afterwards.

There's a metamagic feat (flash freeze i think, but i'm not 100% sure). It makes an area spell deal 2 points of damage as well as layer the place with ice. I think it's what you add to locate city to add the damage to allow for fel drain.
