building a battle dancer 3.5

hello to everyone.one friend wants to make a human battle dancer(dragon magic compendium).what you suggest to make it more versatile in combat with unarmed damage?and what tier you think its battle dancer?its better from monk?
any advices are welcome :)

It's slightly better than monk, but not by much. I don't think it even rises out of tier 5 (too unfocused to do anything well; or only capable of one thing, and not even to the same degree as other classes). Best bet is to load up on as many templates, items, feats, etc., which increase unarmed damage. An open-minded DM might let you replace Battle Dancer features for the monk requirements for classes like Fist of the Forest, Sacred Fist, or Enlightened Fist, which would help a great deal in terms of damage output. The Charisma-to-AC synergizes well with Sorcerer, even a single level of which would get you Enlarge Person a couple of times per day.
