I've posted about her from time to time already, but I think this particular item deserves its own thread.

Last night Autumn broke out of the solo coffeehouse artist mold and performed at one of the bigger venues in town with a full band as one of the opening acts. She not only nailed her performance, it's not easy "filling" a bigger venue with sound and energy, but I was able to capture it all on video.

Not only was it a breakthrough performance by her, but I feel that this was where all of the techniques and skills I've been working on to improve the live music videos I shoot came together. I walked into a completely unfamiliar venue armed with my trusty Sony camcorder, stood in the middle of the crowd, and produced what (in my not-so-humble-opinion :smalltongue: ) is probably one of the best "amateur" live performance videos on Youtube.

And because I have no time limit on my Youtube account, and I had a clean take through the entire 6-song 28 minute set, I posted the entire thing as a single file (as soon as I figure out the annotation system, I'll place quick links to each song at the opening).

Anyway, I give you Autumn Sky live at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It7PcsxxYsM). :smallcool:

I'm biased, but I think she deserves success a lot more than a lot of the other pop singers out there right now.

I can't watch the link, now, since those around me are asleep, but I have to know, is that her real name or a stage name?

Her real first and middle names.

OK, the annotations are active, so right around the 17 sec mark (right after the main title fades out) there are links to each song to jump right to one of them.

Or for your convenience, here they are as well. :smallcool:
