Yes spellings. A long time ago I hassled the thread for help optimizing the spell thunderlance and making a jedi esque character. It is finally time to play said character (the coming wednesday to be exact) and I need to build him out.

He is a Dragonwrought kobold with loredrake and spell hoarding. It's okay with my DM. This is not conterversial in my party...

But so far I know the character will early entry into Anima Mage, then from there abjurant champion maybe? I don't really know, I just know that I need to be really good at attacks of oppertunity and mage slaying. And I want to be an incredible Abjururrrrr. Any tips? I really wanna be an ultimate anti mage.

Abjurers are usually best as caster-slaying casters rather than Gishes. Best stuff you get out of being an Abjurer is Master Specialist and Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil; combine your massive Dispel-checks with "Divine Defiance"-feat and you can easily disarm a mage's magical protections (though of course, this is not without countermeasures - you still need to resolve a Dispelling effect of some kind) and counter spells they attempt to cast. Initiate's capstone is particularly amazing at wiping out casters if you have good dispels.

But you want to be an Abjurer Anima Mage/Abjurant Champion? I...don't see why you'd really want to be an Abjurer in this case. Abjurant Champion really doesn't want you to prepare that much Abjuration; just a handful of protection spells (Greater Luminous Armor and Shield most importantly) and then use the rest of your slots for combat magic. And Anima Mage is really a caster PRC too, though I suppose you could combine the Metamagic Mitigation with some ways to expand your spell list for some Persisting fun with combat buffs.

Be a bit more clear about your build goals. Is it important that:
- The character is an Abjurer?
- The character is a Gish?
- The character is built primarily with options to defeat other Mages?

You're in the wrong part of Tome of Magic; the real anti-mage in that book is Noctumancer/MT.

Without Shadow magic though, your best bet is Master Specialist Abjurer/Iot7FV/Archmage, with a Cloistered Cleric dip for TU/Divine Defiance.

Definately Master Specialist/Initiate of the 7fV. Alternatively go Geomancer/Mage of the Arcane Order and just have the right counterspell every time.

To be fair, even WITH Shadow Magic, I think the latter is the best bet given just how damn juicy the abilities you get are. Between Mastery of Counterspelling, Kaleidoscopic Doom and your Dispel Buffers, your counters and dispels are actually directly lethal. And you have your touch range not-so-pleasant spells with Abjurer capstone.

Being an antimagic mage generally goes to either blowing money to stop spells from hurting you (scrolls+readied actions, various items like ring of counterspelling, etc.) or by having more "spells" and readied actions than sense to just counterspell everything ever.

That or you go cheesy and gishy with Abjurer 3/Master Abjurer X, finishing off with Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil and/or AbjurantChampion. The gish version demands Arcane Disciple tied to something that gets you a persisted power attack or something similar. The counterspelling-focused one probably just goes Wizard 3/Master Specialist 10/Iot7V 7 simply due to level simplicity.
