What impact does having flight speed have on jump checks?

Logically, I'd imagine a creature with a flight speed would be hard pressed to fail one, but the thought occurred to me.

Would a flying creature be able to benefit from Leap Attack?

I'd say that having wings should give a small boost to your jump checks. I think the winged elves have that listed in their racial features.

Don't think you should be able to make a jump while flying, so no leap attack for the airborne warriors. They'd have to land on the ground, and then do a charge+jump.
Think of it as a difference in posture:

While if you're flying in combat, your posture will be closer to this (though holding a weapon)

That's how I view it anyway.

don't raptorans get a jump check bonus for a few levels before they attain flight? it would be a house rule, but I'd say anyone with wings could use them the same way.

Both dragonborn and raptorans get +10 on Jump checks from using their wings to assist, even before they can fly. Hope that helps.

That's a good guideline, I'd say.

Not RAW, but a reasonable guideline.
