To qualify for the Bone Knight prestige one needs 6 ranks in ride.
I would like to avoid using cross-class skillspoints as most clerics don't have the int to also get the other skill-requirements.

A google search for domains and classes with the ride skill was inconclusive at best.

So...with minimal domain, feat or classes invested, how does one get those ranks?

The only way appears to be Aereni Focus from Player's Guide to Eberron - you need to be an Aerenal Elf though. Otherwise, Human Paragon dip gives you a skill, and...that's about it. Ride's tricky to get.

Cloistered Cleric gives you more skill points, so you could almost just cross-class Ride.

Able Learner feat might help out, too. It makes the cross-class skills only cost 1 point instead of 2.

Someone just pointed out the Apprentice feat to me the other day, DMGII.

Upon becoming an apprentice, a character immediately gains two new class skills and two bonus skill points to spend on these class skills. These new class skills are added to the class skill list
for any character class or prestige class she gains.

The Apprentice feats are a series of feats, not just one. Each have preset skills, and Ride is not among them.

Looks like I am probably best off with a ranger or barb lvl.

You'd have to run it by your DM first, but the Cosmopolitan feat from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting allows you to select any one skill and treat it as a class skill.

Requires Elf or Half-Elf, and Travel Domain to do it fastest.

Cleric5/Seeker of the Misty Isle1*/Bone Knight X

Seeker has Ride on its class list, and gets 6+Int skill points per level. Six ranks is all you need for Bone Knight, so you're there in one level. Just make sure you get your other skill prereqs out of the way in the first couple levels.

*1 level if your DM goes by fractional BAB, 2 if not. No caster levels lost either way.

If your DM is homebrew-friendly, you could martial study something from Silver Pegasus (http://age-of-warriors.appspot.com/school?school=Silver%20Pegasus) or Twin Spirit (http://age-of-warriors.appspot.com/school?school=Twin%20Spirit).

Ordained Champion.

You'll need to adapt it to Eberron for the Bone Knight, but two levels of Ordained Champion will even get you into Prestige Paladin... Ordained Champion has best BAB progression as well, in case you jump around a bit.

Cleric 4/Ordained Champion 2/ Bone Knight 10

You get entry at level 7. At level 16 you have 12 BAB and 14th spell casting.

Someone else suggested Human Paragon...
Cleric 1/Human Paragon 3 gets you a mere +2 BAB, so you'd need to do 2 more levels of Cleric... which works out similar.

Cleric 3/HP 3/BK 10. At level 16 you have 11 BAB and 14th spell casting.

Cloistered Cleric is a bad suggestion because of their sucky BAB (which greatly delays entry into the prestige class) and Hit Points.
