View Full Version : GW to D&D conversion... can it be done?

I was thinking the other day, the monsters in Guild Wars are really quite interesting.

I had the mad idea of running a D&D game based on the story and events of the game.

My first instinct says that there is enough depth to the world, and enough for players to be getting on with, rather than just a railroaded, one-track atrocity.


My major concern is with railroading. I believe that there is enough side-plot, but I'm worried about my players running off-track.

I think I want to start with a short of the intro, and see how it goes, any suggestions?
