So it was, that the most unlikely of heroes was born, thrust in to this world, unaware of just how important a role he would play.

Though no one knew it at the time, this would become one of the most known faces in the Capital Wastes.

Ryan was stronger than most people.

So it was, that Ryan's life moved quickly, and he received his pip-boy, his most trusted companion.

Ryan's talent with ranged weapons was apparent immediately. If only he knew just how useful that talent would become.

So I looked out across the wastes, not quite sure what I should be doing, or where to go. Then I noticed the city like set-up of metal in the distance...

From here on it's a 1st person narrative.
