Hello people!

Here's something my friend and I came across...

Cleric with trickery domain, Extra turning, Extend Spell, Persistent Spell, Divine Metamagic, Casts Time Stop with a 24 hour duration, goes to sleep in Time Stop, casts Time Stop again, goes to sleep, casts Time Stop again, etc.

Yo Dawg, I heard you like Time Stop so I put a Time Stop in your Time Stop so you can coup de grace while you coup de grace.

'While the time stop is in effect, other creatures are invulnerable to your attacks and spells; you cannot target such creatures with any attack or spell.'

What is the common workaround for that? Some sort of Piranha spell or spells with bleed/lingering damage effects?

Vortex of Teeth deals damage at the beginning of your turn and it's a school of piranha, mmmmm fishy

Doesn't work. As specified somewhere (maybe FAQ, but I thought it was more official) you can't Persist Time Stop, because the 1d4+1 rounds are apparent time, not actual duration.
