Sub-epic indestructible split phylactery. The relevant cheese was using Psicrystal Power with Planar Vanguard to make your pet demiplane unbreachable.

A psion can manifest any 1-8th spell in the game by reality revisioning himself a powerstone of a spells to powers erudite copy of the spell.

Then he can use the spell without destroying the powerstone by useing his own PP.

I don't see how this prevents ardent from being a viable option for this build.
