Regardless, we are here for Pokémon, or apparently Bonéka　(...Fifth root of beauty?). Touhoumon: Another World (http://animackid.wordpress.com/); I have never played it, and will not be looking up anything, nor do I have any idea on whether it's actually any good. My favorite Let's Play's have all been of bad games though, so hopefully it'll at least be entertaining to anyone along for the ride.

Reimu gives you a second (choosable) starter, and you get to name your first starter at the same time. Your first starter is a random member of the Three Mischevious Fairies.

Now that I'm playing this hack, I feel the need to look for as many bugs and oddities as possible, and so far, I've definitely found quite a few. That isn't going to stop me from enjoying the hack, though. It is still quite impressive, bugs aside. :smalltongue:

Ah, you're the one who did the Labyrinth of Touhou Let's Play! My knowledge of its existence is actually what inspired me to do one of Touhoumon... Luckily this is a different hack from the one you did, I would have felt bad about that. I'll have to read that one sometime here...

It was like this. I woke up in the morning in front of my TV, and then my feet started walking me out of town on their own. Then the neighborhood Banéka "professor" forced me to his lab with his grandson and then he gave us Banéka and forced us to fight with them before his grandson ran out of the lab and my feet walked me to the next town. Then I went shopping and had to deliver a package to the professor and he gave us iDollDexes and I left and ended up being transported to a completely different place after stepping in some grass and got attacked by a vampire!

... That's quite the fervent dream.

...Also I think I'll do this the original Nuzlocke way:
1. Catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each route/cave/whatever and nothing else. If you fail to catch it, too bad, continue onwards.
2. If you Pokemon faints, consider it dead and release it.

Took a little bit of thought, but I've never done a run like that, and might as well do it while I'm flying blind. I've heard that the type matchups are slightly different here, that'll be interesting.

And thanks for the attempt at least, I do use the built in screen-shotter on occasion (mainly the summary screens) but another annoyance with them is I have to retype the name each time, instead of just changing a number. Technically it would be shorter, but I somehow find that more tedious. *Shrug* I'm weird like that.


And the game was salvaged! Turns out my forgetting what Save was called in Japan helped me, as I randomly tagged "MEMO" on the pause screen and had a save right after picking Good Girl (who I have not been able to nickname yet, Are the nicknames one backwards in it? Getting her allowed me to nickname Whey.) :smalltongue: I almost had an exact duplicate of the first fight too, in fact it was exact, except the opponent had slightly different stats.

Oh right, the talking thing. My feet were walking me through the grass, and then I was transported here to Narnia and got attacked by a little sparkly vampire. It got me pretty good, but that lady at the shrine fought it off and took me to her bed for a couple days and declared I had amnesia. Then she gave me a little girl and I ran out, when the vampire attacked again, so I used my other little girl to fight it off, and then I walked and ended up here.

Yep, bread puns. I actually went and looked up a French Bread recipe online too for when I can't think of anything (the 1/4th cups water is actually the start of that). I'm not sure if it's better to shoot for finishing the recipe or never getting around to it...

Images are a little different due some change on my computer... I'm thinking about just making them bigger instead of trying to find the original size and ending up smaller... So yeah, bigger pictures, and a quicker update next time after all, really what I need to do is grind a bit... What do you mean by 'find the original size'? The original size is tiny in any case, so setting the emulator to 2x size or thereabouts would improve readibiltiy of the screen shots. [Options->Video in VisualBoyAdvance]

Original size as in the size I was originally posting them at and not the original size of the program. But yeah, I was thinking of running it on fullscreen pretty much and scaling it down to an 8th (it'd end up about the size of the three pages for each Boneka).

And hmm, I guess she is kind of like a Grue, isn't she? It is why she is never seen...
