1rst level is traded for dragonblood sorcerer substitution (lose nothing gain draconic heritage for free)
-use draconic heritage to get perform as a class skill
Take the battle sorcerer variant (usually a terrible choice but you need the BAB and the extra hitpoints to survive the early levels and gain access to prestige Bard by level 5)
Add the domain access option (also gives you the domain power, go for deathbound which gives you 50% more fans)

Prestige bard costs you 4 caster levels which you gain back with practiced spellcaster. It still costs you access to level 9 spells but you inspire courage just as well as a dedicated bard (and you have access to bard only spells).
Your cost in spells/ day is greatly offset by the lyric spells feat (burn x bardic music uses to cast a spontaneous spell of level x) as you get 1 use per prestige bard level (and you're likely to only need 4-5 uses per day).
Finally, short of using undead leadership (which is just as banned as leadership in my campaigns) you get the largest crowd of undead followers possible (level 20 caster with deathbound domain power and desecrate).
Note: Unfortunately turning into a necropolitan makes you lose your dragonbloodedness (which is required for the perform class skills to qualify for prestige bard, you can wait till you don't need the feat anymore and it shouldn't affect anything else).
