Necromancer

I'm been told by the dm that he wants to have an evil group in his campaign i wanna do a necromancer but dont know much about them or spellcasters in general and the kind of necromancer i wanna make is one that can have a horde of undead fighting for him how can i get as many as possible

I've heard that Clerics make very good minion master necromancers. :smallconfused:

Dread Necromancer (Heroes of Horror) is the most straightforward way.

Seconding dread necromancer. From level 8 on, no other class can match its minion totals.

Be sure to take advantage of the draconic zombie template outside of core. if you are making a necromancer, nothing says power like a ridiculously high hit die draconic zombie mount. Then awaken it.

Master of Shrouds from Libris Mortis is about having the Incorporeal Undead minions, but at max PrC I think you don't get very many summons.
