One of the upcoming fights in the campaign I'm running will be against a ghostly sorcerer and several advanced will-o'-wisps. I don't want the will-o'-wisps to become useless though as soon as the party casts mass energy resistance electricity. So I'm looking for some type of buff spell the sorcerer could cast on a group of 6 will-o'-wisps that will either change the damage type of their attacks to something other than electricity or ideally add another type of damage to their shocking touch attacks. What I'm looking for will ideally be:
A multi-target spell of 6th level or lower -or-
A spell that can be chained (i.e. single target and range greater than touch) of 3rd level or lower.
Something like balor nimbus or body of the sun would be perfect if they weren't self only, just to give you a better idea of the kind of thing I'm looking for.
