View Full Version : Need help with cat [3.P] (Also, I remember there were some super cats in 3.5?)

So I am a witch with a cat familliar, but currently my witch lacks any considerable melee staying power and she is frequently separated from the group.

So I need to make a cat that is decent at taking on level 1 and 2 mooks (we are level 2 currently).

Currently, I am playing the beastbonded archetype, so I can give my cat feats. What suggestions would you have to improve him?

Here's my current list:
Piranha Strike (Power attack but with weapon finesse + dexterity)
Pump acrobatics + steath for leaping cat action

Issue is that he can deal at most, only three damage, if everything hits. So I need to improve damage a lot.

Maybe not super, but certainly fabulous:

IF ToB is allowed, martial training for Shadowhand maneuvers then stances. Can get sneak-attack that way (followed by Craven).

There are also Elven Cats which are better than normal cats (including being fully sapient and having their own language) and probably available via superior familiar (as elves are better at everything).
