Undead Skin-Monster?

Hello, all.

I'm working on a PrC for my homebrew class, the Skinwalker (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210844). It's a theurge class all about combining Skinwalker magic with necromancy. The point is that this is a guy who obsesses over skin and Undead, so I wanted to give it abilities that tie the two together, such as raising a creature's skin as one undead and the rest of its body as another.

What I come to ask is: Has this been done? Is there an Undead skin-monster statted out somewhere and I've missed it, or do I have to make my own? I can use zombie for the "leftovers," but nothing I've found seems appropriate for the skin itself.

Just so we all know, I'm aware of the skin kite from Libris Mortis; it just doesn't quite offer what I'm after.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's the spell skinsend (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/skinsend) from Ultimate Magic. Sounds like something this guy might want to cast, but I'm not sure how helpful it is, seeing as it's from Pathfinder.

There's the Forsaken Shell on pg. 100 of Libris Mortis.
That would be perfect if it were about a third the power, I think. This does not look like something to which I want to give PCs access as a minion, at least not the way I wanted to... I might be able to work with this, thank you.

A very interesting spell, and potentially awesome. However, as you have noted, it's not particularly useful to me. I should have specified that this was for 3.5 (and homebrew, I suppose) only, so third party and Pathfinder are no-goes. Thank you, though; your effort is appreciated.

The Menace Manual for the Skarred Lands campaign setting has siege undead, skin. They're undead created by filling a set of skin with sand and sewing shut the eyes and mouth. They have companion undead created from just the muscles and just the bones respectively.
