Not quite OT: will www.penpaperpixel.org return?

Does anyone know if www.penpaperpixel.org is only temporarily down? It has been down for some time for me. d20srd.org depends on penpaperpixel.org for its filtered searches, so its absence deprives me of some rather useful search methods.

What do you mean by "filtered searches?" The standard d20srd filters are still there from what I can see (e.g "Core Rules," "Variant Rules," "Magic & Spells," etc) and those are all just a set of Google parameters; you can even make your own custom ones by using the proper syntax in the search box.

I think the OP means the things like the monster & spell filter.

I make great use of the encounter calculator, which is also down, so if anyone knows what's up with it I'd appreciate knowing too.

I feel your pain. It's not quite as streamlined, but this does the same thing for XP & treasure values (http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1LRn2C/www.enworld.org/cc/fiend_factory/elc/encounter_calculator.htm).

Unfortunately, the tool doesn't work on archive.org that I can see. However, my connection and computer are rather subpar, so that could be part of it. Could someone try these two links (from web.archive.org), to see if the tool works?

Neither worked for me. You can put details in, but it won't calculate anything.

I noticed this site was down the other day when I tried to do a monster search. I did some digging and its owned by the same guy who owns the d20srd.org site. I've emailed him a couple times but gotten no response. Maybe if we all send a few emails asking whats up we might get a response. No spam/DDoS please, just a few friendly requests for info.

It appears that the tools that used to be on pen paper pixel gave been added to the main d20srd.org site. Yay!
