TOB (p.110) Armored UD feat

You can use uncanny dodge
or improved uncanny dodge even if you wear medium or
heavy armor.
I've found no mentioning of UD being disabled by wearing med. armor in core books. Furthermore while searching for clues I stumbled across a lot of barbarian NPC templates in DMG (p. 112 for instance) and most of them wear med. armor while having no problems utilizing the benefits of UD.
Have I missed something or is it just another case of WOTC writers being incompetent?

According to this (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19525942/Tome_of_Battle_Q38;A), it isn't a feat, but an Eternal Blade PrC ability. The bit at the end is redundant, though.
