What do you think of these prestige classes?

I've been looking into a number of prestige classes, and I'm not a very good judge of strength or power, so I was wondering what people think of the Dread Pirate, Scarlet Corsair, Legendary Captain, and Thunder Guide.

IIRC, Dread Pirate and Legendary Captain synergize well together for follower abuse. Can't comment on the other ones though.
