Anyone find this odd? Martial Artists have worn headbands with their family's crest or their master's house emblem on them for centuries. For flavor's sake, it would be awesome to receive an heirloom bandana that's been handed down through the generations and confers the power of that house. Even better, they could bear emblems and power of the 12 zodiac animals.

It seems the only headbands I can find are all for casters. If I've missed any, please let me know. I've only checked Oriental Adventures, DMG 1 & 2, and the Magic Item Compendium so far.

Play an unarmed swordsage instead.

Just putting that out there.

Anyway, I don't know that there's any headbands for monks. Never heard of any.

Scout's Headband is useful for monks, for example. Or you could have one custom-made, it's not like every helm of telepathy has to be a helm.

Under the "body slot affinities" table, headbands are listed as "mental improvement," so that +Wisdom item can be reslotted to a headband with no change in cost.
