I don't see any reason why it shouldn't, Augment works on multiple summons, doesn't it?

Thank you. My DM is a stickler for by the book and I could find nothing written either way.

Well, the game dynamics as a whole quite often reward creativity for thinking "outside the box", which is why simple spells like Minor Image and Ghost Sound can be so deadly.

So, even with absolutely no mention to confirm or deny this usage, I'd say that this is one of these cases where if the rules don't specifically say that you can't do it, then it means that you can do it.
