You see it in anime, manga and general fantasy movies. The hero pulls the weapon/item of power out of hammer space after the bad guy has them checked. I've come across a situation where this is almost mandatory the party needs to get into a prison I chose to be the man on the inside but I need a reliable way of getting a weapon (sans disarming a guard's halberd bare-handed.) Baring that I need to know a way to create a weapon from 0-60 in about 3 seconds (one round) I'm a swordsage who is generally unarmed or fights with the weapons of dead enemies and seeing how the guards of this nonmagic prison saw me Unarmed Mountain Hammer some guy in the courtyard I feel the DM is going to find a way to restrict my actions. The party that's coming to save me consists of a Halfling Rogue specializing in Sneak Attack, An Elf Ninja specializing in the Machine Gun Assassin area, and a Warforged Knight who bought boots that give a -10 to move silently.. on top of being unarmored bodied and mountain plated..... stealth is almost our forte'

But enough fluff... Weapon out of Nothing. Not in the Prison yet, but soon, maybe sunday.

Do you have Use Magic Device (UMD)/Use Psionic Device (UPD)?
There are scrolls that will do this.

Graft Weapon and Call Weaponry are two such examples if you have UPD.

No, I took skills for my Disciplines and then filler stealth ones.
But those would've been good to take it seems.

Soul bound weapon ACF (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070214a)is the best way to emulate this; the problem is that you need at least two levels of psychic warrior.

There is also the Called weapon property from magic item compendium, it's a +1 enchantment which allows you to call the weapon to your person at any time, as a standard action if I remember it correctly.

If you have improved unarmed strike, you can attack with literally any part of your body. If you have shadow blade and the variant that gives monk damage, you're powerful enough bare-handed that wielding another weapon is almost always going to be worse than simply head-butting your target to death. What's the DM going to do? Cut off your head?

Awesome, sounds like what I need, now how does one attune it to themselves, because if it's possible to attune it to me without me physically being there all the better. Keeps me from having to break out of prison transport on the way to the maximum security zone.

I'm confused as to why you want a weapon too. It sounds like you'll be just as effective (if not more) without one.

Because I may have punched a very high ranking military official into non-existence and they might have been the son of a high ranking lord and I might need more than my crushing fists of steel to get out. And arming the guy who we're supposed to be helping escape might be useful too. I didn't want to go into the extreme details of whats happened in the campaign.

Basic Summary
PC's have been hired to break an NPC out of a high security prison.
The place has been anti-magiced so easy options gone.
My character in one of their 4 personalities went and punched the fanciest looking person they could. Job Done. Too well.

The weapon is either for me, or for the NPC we're breaking out depending on Need.

I think what is making people confused is exactly what do you want a weapon to do that you can't do with your crushing fists of steel.

I mean, if you ignore DR with a maneuver I am sure you can literally knock down walls.

Edit: And if they prevent you from using your fists and feet (for kicks), then a weapon isn't going to help either.

1. Mountain Hammer + Jail Cell Bar = Free metal club.

2. Do you really have just one round to do this? If not, fashion a shank or something in your spare time if you're really concerned about it.

3. Improvise, like you've been doing this whole time. Smack someone with your food bowl. Rip the bench out of the cell and smack someone with it.

4. If your DM is preventing you from Unarmed-Striking the guards, a 1-round mundane weapon isn't going to save you.

5. DC 12 Craft check gets you a club as a free action. RAW, clubs have zero cost, so you put in the gp value of effort needed to make it in zero time. Infinite Clubs. Swarm the guards with clubs. But if you want it to work, make one and say it's a piece of a bench or a metal bar or something.

EDIT: Just f***ing punch your way out. Your Unarmed Strike probably does more damage than a club anyway. And what exactly are the guards going to do to your unarmed strike (which can be any part of your body, not just fists. Good card to play when they have you handcuffed) that they can't to a weapon?

This seems like the best bet for a quick weapon unless you have a good bit of magic to play with.

I think the infinite clubs thing would be a good bit of magic. But that's all there would be.

If the cells are antimagic then not much that summons weapons will be useful even if they did somehow work out to be better than your fists. Just kung fu the nearest guard and hand off his gear to your escort quest.

Don't forget that most ToB maneuvers can be used in antimagic zones, most of the exeptions being from shadow hand, and desert wind, with a few in devoted spirit as well.
So maneuvers such as mountain hammer should still work fine.

with a few in devoted spirit as well.

Devoted Spirit is entirely Ex in nature. Only the 9th level maneuver can be considered magical, and only if you read that it casts the spell instead of bestowing the effect.

Saying otherwise means it's a house rule.

Ah, hadn't noticed that, makes the series of devoted spirit maneuvers a bit better, I hadn't relised that they were Ex.

Alternatively you could try the ring of arming from the MIC, if you think they'll let you keep jewelry in the prison. Or maybe you could hide the ring in your mouth or something.

CALLED
Price: +2,000 gp
Property: Armor or shield

Unfortunately the "Called" Enchant is Armor/Shield exclusive and not something you can use to gain a weapon. Also, the ability to summon it to yourself is voided if you aren't the last person to wear it (ie after handing it to the NPC, you would be unable to regain it if said NPC is recaptured or double-crosses you).

I'd still use my bare hands if I were you.

Well, it requires at least 5 levels in Binder, but binding Eurynome allows you to summon a magic warhammer. Not much use for the OP, however.

There's a spell In the Spell Compendium, Absorb Weapon that sort of does this, it turns any light weapon into a tattoo on your arm for later retrieval, only works the once though and I think it's assassin only.
