Looking for forum dice rolling mod help.

I posted this on the Roleplaying board first, but I was referred to this board instead.

I am a moderator on a small forum where we are trying to install a dice mod so play-by-post games can be run on the site. So far, we have been unsuccessful in finding anything that installs and functions correctly.

The board is in phbBB3, version 3.0.8

[BETA] Dicemod (http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=1816135) is the latest we've tried, but it's been giving trouble. Does anyone know if there's an issue with the mod not parsing BBcode in posts? Permissions have been applied and the includes/constants.php file was modified correctly.

I hate to redirect you again, but you'd probably be better off getting help from from any official phbBB3 support you can find, especially since this forum runs off of VBulletin. I'm not a mod or anybody skilled in this area, so maybe if you stick around somebody will show up and be able to help.

Why not try the Official phpBB Forums (http://www.phpbb.com/community/)?

You'd be far more likely to get proper advice than asking on random forums.


edit- I just realized you linked to a post on that forum. Is there a reason you're not asking there already?

Sheriff: You were right the first time, this is more a topic for Friendly Banter than Board Issues. It isn't an issue with this board at all.

Though, I agree, it seems like you'd have better success elsewhere. But if you want to inquire here, Friendly Banter is your place.
