Shaper of Form Build

I stumbled upon the Shaper of Form PrC from the Dragon Compendium (p. 85). Maybe it's because I'm working on other characters at preset, but I can't seem to figure out how I would use it in a build. I'm a little enchanted by it, so I'm asking for some help from the playground.
How would you use this PrC?
What are it's Strengths and Weaknesses?
What classes/PrC do you think it would mix well with?

EDIT: To clarify, I'm not looking for a complete build, just some ideas to toy around with, as I seem to be stuck atm.
