Vestige Detection

I may have missed it, but is the possession of a vestige, or any powers it grants, able to be determined with any kind of check, such as Spellcraft?

I'm pretty sure any magic circle against X spell expells a vestige, regardless of what the circle protects against, I think(not quite sure) that protection from X spells do the same thing, and if you have the mark visable some NPCs or PCs will be able to tell it is there without checks.
Edit: also anything that detects possession would probably work aswell.
Edit #2: I looked in the tome of magic to see if it said anything about finding vestiges in the witch slayer class, right after the sample noc it has the spell "detect vestiges", which works as standard detect X spells do, only in regard to vestiges rather than alignments.
