A seldom known fun-fact about Mega Muscle Man: ever since his engagement, he has been banned from every jewelry store within a 20 mile radius. You see, every time he examines a display, the diamonds keep transforming into miniature versions of his own biceps- in an effort to obtain a sturdier state of matter.

(And who could blame them, really.)

He’d keep insisting that this was an improvement, if anything, but the shopkeeps would have nothing of it. The coalition against him was growing as rapidly as their disdain, and even despite their meek nature it should have been no surprise that they had sent out a jeweler to find him.

A jeweler hitman, no doubt.

Oh yes, there was no mistaking it. The expensive tastes, the way he was just standing there waiting for him. The cane (<--clear indicator). Perhaps if he stood perfectly still, the jeweler’s movement-based vision would not be able to see him. Mega Muscle Man enormous as an ox, freezes in the middle of the sidewalk.

Worry not, for this is not my purpose here; I wish only to have a duel, I assure you. Twirling his Vortex Manipulator cane in one hand, a virtual duel field appears arrayed before him. [If you've ever watched Dr. Who, this character will make more sense. The Jeweler is not literally a Jeweler, but rather a Time Lord akin to Dr. Who. Instead of "The Doctor", though, he is known as "The Jeweler" because he is known for his appreciation of beauty and uniqueness.]

In retrospect, I should probably have changed my monsters to defense mode... oh well, that was fairly won. Here is your prize, Mr. Muscle Man. He vanishes for a moment with his Vortex Manipulator, and then appears again a moment later bearing the jewel he promised to his opponent. After he passes it off, he vanishes again with a tap of his cane and a tip of his top hat.


[That was a good duel! I was really hoping to just thin down my deck and topdeck Heavy Storm, but no such luck :smallannoyed::smalltongue:. If only there were Xyz monsters that handled field nuking...]

[That was a fun one! (If albeit a little slow at times). I'm terrified, frankly, of nasties like heavy storm and dark hole; this time around, I was lucky enough to have gotten both of my dark bribes set, thankfully

In a recent duel against Mistral, I was beaten pretty bad because of effect-negation abilities. Might be a useful counter- as without that 'cannot be destroyed by battle' detail, cloudians are all just very weak monsters.

But these past couple of matches have given me some pointers, and I think I'm slowly developing this deck into its final stages. I'd be happy to duel again, whenever you'd like]
