So I am creating a 12th level character aiming to (ab)use bluff to its fullest extent. Currently I can get my bluff to around 50ish. My levels are-

Rogue 9 Warlock 1 Exemplar 2.

Bluff Check-
skill Ranks- +15
Charisma- +3
Skill focus- +3
Exemplar bonus- +4
Warlock bonus- +6
Circlet of Persuasion- +3
Magic item of Bluff +6
Totals at +40 and exemplar lets me take ten so 50 total.

So Playground what else could I do to maximize my characters use of the bluff skill?

Your wand of Glibness (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/glibness.htm) is suspiciously lacking.

As is your wand of Guidance of the Avatar. (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/sb/sb20010504a) It's far higher than any other competence bonus you're likely to have.

Also: It's rogue, not rouge.

Well what other uses are there for bluff past DC 50 for instill a suggestion?

Well, looking at epic rules, DC 70 lets you change what your alignment appears as, and DC 100 lets you beat stuff like detect thoughts.

One thing to note is that instilling suggestions isn't a flat DC 50. It adds 50 to the target's Sense Motive, so if they have any ranks in it, you being able to hit 50 won't be enough.

If you can afford the feat(or dip), and don't have any conflicting bonus types, Conceal Thoughts (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/concealThoughts.htm) is pretty good.

Ah ok so there is a point to upping my bluff beyond 50

If it's any help, Secrets of Sarlona opened up Glibness as a 3rd-level power (general Psi/Wild list, but in Psychometabolism).

Ahaha! WHAT!?!

New Build:
Human Warlock 1/Marshal 1/Binder 1/Ardent 5/Thrallherd 4.

Offers much more power and versatility.

I said Psi/Wild, not Ardent. :smallconfused:

Ardents can grab powers from any list they please through Custom Mantles, and then there's always Expanded Knowledge.

There's a 4th(?) level cleric that lets you treat your rolls as natural 20s. That gets you another +10 on top of all these other suggestions.

Righteous Aura (pal 4, spc) gets you +4 sacred bonus to charisma.

Because an Ardent can't cherry pick what powers they want from any discipline's list...

Oh wait!
