There is a thread in free form role playing, PACK, which hasn't been posted in in a little over a month. May I please have permission to post there and revive the thread?

Thread Necromancy (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/announcement.php?a=1)
Bringing a thread back from "the dead." If a thread hasn't been posted in within the last six weeks, don't reply to it. Start a new topic, if you want to discuss the subject (you are welcome to link to the old thread). If you think it would be better to resurrect an old thread, PM a moderator for that subforum and wait for approval. The original poster of a creation in Homebrew (and only that poster) may revive a creation beyond the six-week threshold without prior Moderator approval.

Looks like the cap on necrothreadermancery is 6 weeks or less. If said thread is truely only 1 month old (between 4 and 5 weeks), it hasn't quite ripened up to truely zombirific levels of necromancy and no permission is required.

Alternatively, as Roland's common mantra of "err on the side of caution" indicates, proper threadiquette for a truely dead thread would be to create a new thread, reference the old thread, possibly with relevant quotations/links in the intial post, and continue on from there. Posterity is preserved and crossing the rules is avoided by a large margin.

Sheriff: As Keld noted, at a month, it isn't even necromancy yet, so go for it. But if it's reached that six week mark, the way to ask for an exception is to PM a moderator for that subforum and ask.
