Yu-Gi-OhITP Duel Thread - Allan Surgite versus Devilfish

The sands blew across the street; the townspeople looked to the desert. Vast and unforgiving, and intruding; the desert was now blowing into their village when, only a few years ago, there had been no sand on the hills at all. But time marched on, and those who marched it against it were swept up in it's flow.

And from the desert, she came. A dark figure, with a still mouth, walked into the town like a mirage. She stood in the town square, as people moved aside for her entrance; they were familiar with this game. "Who here shall challenge me?" She called, revealing a duel disc upon her right arm.

It had been an eventful weekend for Mega Muscle Man. He was just on his flight back from Sydney, where had just broken his own world record for Most Consecutive Knockouts within thirty seconds of round 1. Unfortunately, as it was MMM's custom, he made personal acquaintances with all of the flight staff, and it was about halfway through the trip that the pilot, (who must not have read the memo,) revealed that the fact that he was a pretty cool dude.

The ensuing fist bump with MMM shattered every bone up to the scapula.

Fortunately, the staff and crew survived the crash, but they were now stranded in some desert, with no proper means of medical attention, no food or water indigenous to any familiar land, and, (OH WOE!) no hand held weight any heavier than one hundred fifty pounds. It was clear that supplies were in dire need.

The pilot was carried to town by camel, and the camel was carried to town by Mega Muscle Man. Thankfully, people were beginning to clear way for him... except for one local woman, who simply didn't get the idea.

Excuse me, maam! he called out ahead, My muscles are carrying high priority cargo! He would simply nudge her aside, but the ensuing shockwave would probably cause cardiac arrest in every living creature within a one hundred meter radius. He wondered for a moment why she would still hold her ground, when it occurred to him: she must not understand a word he was saying!

DONDE - uhh... - COMPRENDE - (yeah that's it) - ENGLESSE?

Safira sighed. "I am perfectly capable of understanding you, sir. Now, do you accept my challenge? A single duel, betwixt the two of us." She made a sudden movement with her right arm, upon which a duel disc spring into existence. "Come. What do you say?"

-Was the cirrostratus used as a tribute, or do xyz rules allow you to bypass the restrictions on mind control?
-Is the cirrostratus still technically on the field, in the graveyard, or...?]

(OOC: I'll answer that. Monsters used for Xyz Summoning are not tributed, and do not exist in any zone (Not even Banished/RFG) until they are removed by the monster's effect. If the attached monsters are removed by the monster's effect or if the Xyz Monster goes to the Graveyard or Extra deck, the attached monsters go to the graveyard.)

((Okizruin is correct: Xyz Summons do not use Tributes (much like Synchro Summons) and Cirrostratus is classed as Xyz Material, and thus not on the field, in the graveyard, Banished or anything like that. It's basically in Xyz limbo.))

With my field clear, my hand full of single-play monsters, and my deck based off of building momentum, I will undoubtedly lose next turn (nice play on blasting those swords of mine >.o). While the victory is yours, if you are ever curious to pit your deck against the full capabilities of my own, I will happily welcome a rematch.

(Because who would have guessed that if half your deck is monsters and half your deck is their complementary cards, there is a still a 50% chance that you will get all of one or the other instead of the blend you had intended ;p)]]


I'm going down faster than King Hippo...
Broad as an ox and three times as meaty, Mega Muscle Man drew stern as stone, a long shadow draping over his features. Off in the distance, a plane could be seen making its ascent. From over his shoulder, the camel was piecing this together in its head; but when the realization came, it did not even have time to bleat a plea.

The impact of the camel and pilot hitting the aircraft would actually accelerate their flight four hours ahead of schedule.

On the ground, the villagers shifted nervously, unsure of what to make of the huffing mass of muscle; with a broad smile and a hearty thumbs up, he would satisfy their confusion.
