Signature?

I recently tried to make a signature to credit an avatar artist. It doesn't seem to show up, even after I press "save signature". Is there something basic I'm missing here?

EDIT: Now it's here? How did that happen.

There's a checkbox below each reply box with the "Show your signature" option. When you don't have a signature, that checkbox is unchecked by default. Posts where you didn't have a signature at the time likely won't have the option checked.

Oh. So it's not retroactive? My older posts won't have my new sig in it?

You can go back and edit the posts to check the "Show your signature" option, but by default no.
