Arena: Little America; player 1- Inriiaynrae

a smirk was hidden beneath the cowl of her piwafwi, her face hidden in shadows it provided. deep crimson orbs scanned and watched every nook and cranny of the strange location she had just been forced into. one hand was upon the hilt of a sword, the other ready to flick the simplest spells at any enemy.

when he was insight, at the end of the street in a open area, she remained hidden and moved stealthily among the shadows twords him. a small empty store (think convenience store) was the nearest structure to him, a pile pf crumbled rubble. it was dark, the setting equivalent of midnight during the new moon. post of glowing lights barely cut into the darkness. half the structures had electricity, half were as dark as the night. Inriia paused to consider the lights, curious about the nature of the unusual magic. her mind wondered over the rest of the arena and all the strangeness of the place. of course she had to shake her head to focus. now wasnt the time to get distracted.

Inriia stepped graceful as a hunting panther and silent as death, moving thru the shadows of the strange structures around her preparing for her opponent. as she neared the blade was free of its sheath and close to her form.

Spider, Little America
Spider quickly gazed around the area, a smile played across his face. He turned to his companion, Amber.
"Lets hope today is a challege."
The teen who was small even for her age noded and then crouched down.

Spider then leaned down and picked her up with both hands. Spider then walked up the the convience store and slowly placed on bare foot on the wall. In less than a second tiny bones then grew and burst out of Spider's feet forming tiny hooks. Spider winced from the annoying, yet familiar pain.

He then began to walk up the building, Amber still in his arms. He reached the top after only two stories. Slowly he placed his companion down next to him. He then pointed his hand down at the street and closed his eyes. Yet again pain burst through his hands. Two tiny shards of bone jut out of his skin. Spider broke it off with his other hand then dropped it as quitely as he could into the street below, the other he handed to the blonde hair girl.

"So can you see her?"

Then a tiny invisable spirit gazed out of the shard in the street. It looked around.
The girl then spoke in a cold emotionless voice.
"Yes, left."

Spider reached into his pocket and took out his glasses, and placed it on his face. The HUD automatically turned on, showing a tiny mini-map with himself and Amber on it as green dots, it also showed Spider's physical condition, and a small crosshair.

Spider then looked down into the street to the left. Saddly he couldn't see his target in the dark.
"Where are you?"

Circle of Death - Chronos

Ladies, gentlemen, kids and other conscious beings, we now switch to arena two where the two contestants have just materialized. On your screen you can see Chronos appearing in mid-air at about 35ft high exactly above the the pokeball-shaped (sorry for you who don't know pokeballs in your universe) lines in the centre of the Circle of Death!
He is astonished and just manages to open his wings to stay in air!

The second contestant enters the arena just to the northside. For your viewing pleasure we've added a little N and a little S so you don't get all dizzy when the incorporeal camera begins to spin around the room.
It is GIMIT! Look at this blue monster, ready to begin fighting, or maybe not, he doesn't seem to really know what he'll do...

As both contestants notice each other it is time to start the game! And remember folks, there is only so much air in this circle of death, so they'll have to act fast!
On the upper-right side you'll see the percent of air that's still available for our contestants, on the lower right and left sides you'll see the remaining strength of our contestants, calculated by our super-powerful-computer-that-is-never-wrong-,-only-in-some-cases-like-the-circle-of-death.

BATTLE START!!

The creature known as the Culicade took her first step onto the lava rocks that formed the solid "floor" of the cave. Oddly despite the fact that the organizers stated that both contestants would be entering the arena at the same time she had yet to see anything remotely resembling an adversary, while the wait was mildly frustrating she was brought some comfort by the fact that she could get a better idea of where exactly she was in the interim. despite her initial hesitations of coming anywhere near a lava filled cave the battlefield actually seemed fairly hospitable, it was almost unnaturally spacious, fairly temperate, and barring a few odd rocks quite traversable. For a moment she considered the implication of the possibility that the organizers of the event had the power required to make such a seemingly impossible place when her thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a familiar sensation.

While the arena might have impressive and perhaps even legitimately beautiful Culicade abandoned all interest in it when she picked up the faint but maddening smell of human blood. She bit her cheek, although it was to faint to track she knew someone had been through the arena very recently and the fact that she wasn’t capable of even imagining bleeding them dry was driving her crazy. As she paced contemplated what could have happened to her opponent, fell into the lava? match would have ended. wanted to be temporarily evacuated from the battlefield for some reason? Why would the organizers oblige. flew away somehow? she knew enough about flying to know that low ceilings and rising hot air don’t mix.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her teeth met at what used to be a part of her cheek and she was stuck by pain and the putrid taste of her part insect blood. Brought out of her trance by the shock Culicade finally came back to her senses and came to a somewhat comforting realization, there was no way they were going to keep her in an empty cave longer then necessary this was a TV show, any time that wasn’t spent on bloodletting was loosing them money. Satisfied Culicade took a seat near a circular rock formation and tried to enjoy the scenery despite her unending thirst for blood and self inflicted mouth injury. Unfortunately her respite was interrupted when a nearby rock emitted a chuckle then seemed to burst into smoke revealing a man dressed in a standard wizards outfit. as if on cue the other rocks that had littered the room seemed to unfurl like living things waking from sleep. Culicade rose up and took a defensive position, she hadn't found her prey apparently this time it was the other way around.

Oshgosh Magma Arena

*earlier*

Oshgosh looked about this "arena" nothing but rock and liquid fire to work with . . .not that it really matter. Still, might as well use the materials at hand.

He extends his staff and while muttering touches 6 waist high boulders, each begins to unfold arms and legs. He nods at his handywork and then commands them all to wait. He looks around, mutters a few words and shifts his own form to rock. An ambush it will be.

*now*

Oshgosh watched from his hidden position as the strange creature sat back and waited. What a bizare creature, some sort of insectoid human . . . . No matter, easily dispatched.

Without a word he silently commanded his minions to prepare for the attack. Quickly shifting into his human forth he gave the command and his 6 rock elementals charged. The insect thing was fast though, far too fast. The first two it dodged easily, causing them to crash into each other and break into rubble. It slipped past the next 3, dodging and weaving with speed and begins to take flight as the 6th grabbed its foot.

Oshgosh sat bemused and then annoyed as the creature managed to life the rock elemental into the air and then begin cartwheeling and spinning through the air until the creature fell into a pool of lava.

The insect creature turned back to look at him, an almost mad hungered look in its eyes, and then road the updraft into the darkness.

"So," he says, "I should not underestimate you."

He mumbles a few words and his grey robes grow stronger and more resistant to damage, he taps the staff on the ground, the rock turns to mud. He then begins swirling the mud with the staff, chanting quickly as a large form begins to emerge bubbling from the mud . . . a dark greyish green creature with bulbous eyes, a dire toad.

Oshgosh pats the creature on its back and says "You, there is a large snack in here for you somewhere, go find it."

((ooc: spell used- Ray of Flame: 1d6 fire; 1 point/caster level (up to +5.) her caster level is 4))

the smirk remained as he looked for her, temporarily cloaked in invisibility. of all the races of her home world, few were more stealthy than the famed dark elves.
Willing herself up, she enabled her natural levitation (racial spell) and rose the 30 feet to the top of a structure, her cloak tight around her should any surprises happen.
leather boots touched down without a sound, and she broke into a sprint to the edge. her hands moved in the correct gestures, her lips whispering the arcane words of the spell. magical energies gathered as she manipulated their powers. hands flung forward and red light shot forth arching from the roof of the building down to the males position, the fire rays flying fast that within a blink it was nearly upon him. she didnt hesitate, and those streaks were followed by a few more some aimed around him, in any possible paths he would chose to roll to avoid the spell's impact. She fought to hold in a laugh as the use of raw power she held. true it was a simple lower spell, but fire was fire.

any loose rays that missed, did not just dissipate, their effects slammed into the ground, into the building, or anything that could catch afire.

unknown to her was the gas stored below ground.

----
((ooc: not sure if i need to wait to say so or not, but if anything like the gas tanks blow up...so here just in case- ))

Inriia threw her head back and let out a wicked laugh as the small sparks caused a domino effect. it started small, but grew into intensity. her arms out wide, her laugh grew maniacal. the heat washed over her blowing her hair around wildly, her piwafwi flapping behind her.

Spider & Amber, Little America"Front." Whispered the girl.
"Wait, what."
Then just as Spider raised his head rays of pure fire blasted at him. He sidestepped the first on instinct but his enemy had anticipated his dodge and two rays hit him in the chest. Damaging his sanguine coat.
"Damn it."
Spider raised his hand and aimed it at the dark elf in floating in the air. Quickly sharp shards slid out of his hand creating slightly larger holes in the partially regenerated flesh. Then with a flick of the wrist he threw the shards at his foe, his aim complemented by his crosshair.
The shards pierced her armour but didn't break the skin. The drow didn't even seem to notice.
A grin played across his face.
"A challenge."
Then he smelt the gas. And the drow continued to launch flames from her palms. Igniting many random object, slowly burning the conveince store. Spider looked at Amber. Ran to her and picked her up. Quickly he looked for another building he could jump to. A single story store of some kind. Better than nothing, he thought to himself. He leaped off the roof of the building just as a spark came into contact with the gas.

The room under the roof the exploded, collapsing the roof and sending a shockwave through the air. Spider landed on the small store with a large thud, all the while pain exploded through his legs.

Spider turned to look at the ruined building to see if he can find his opponent, but the smoke obscured his view.

He lowered his doll to the ground asked her a question.
"Can you see what this store sells from your street view?"
"Yes, Firearms."

Golden Sands Resort-Dalek

"Hu-man im-ba-CILES! In-cap-ab-le of wor-king their lim-it-ed TECHNOLOGY!"
Spotting a shape-shifter, the dalek responds "In-fer-ior SPe-CIES! EX-TER-MIN-ATE!" Lowering the shields only long enough to fire its main guns, the dalek fires at full power. Hitting numerous floating water droplets, the shot refractsmany times over, and in a brilliant, fireworks like display, spectral colors shotgun outward into many areas, few shots hit, refracted so badly that only a few bumps and bruises result to the shapeshifter.

The shapeshifter responds promptly by raging against the dalek, throwing himself forward off of a wall spinning as he leaps and spinning wildly toward the dalek! While the shields hold, and no damage is done, the force of the strike slows the shapeshifter to a near halt, but sends the dalek spinning wildly in a vertical pattern and through a wall into the residential section. Due to the traumatic, violent nature of the spinning armor, the dalek creature begins to convulse inside its armor, fireing its gun and manuevering thrusters (that's what I call them, IDK if Doctor Who has a name for them) randomly. "Th-TH-TH Dalalalalalalalalalalekekekeekekseseseses Nototot malal Fuuunctionnn. De-feat No An-i-MAL Intel-ig-anananance. shjoooo." No hits are scored against the shapeshifter. Hitting another wall, the spinning subsides, and the continuing convulsions of the dalek for about 10 sec cause the shapeshifter to get a second attack.

This time, using almost all his strength, the shapeshifter launches himself from a wall, yelling "Freedom!" maniacally. He then forms himself into an almost indefinately sharp arrow! Since the shields are down, it is a direct hit to the dalek, and penetrates partially, which might have done some serious injury if the attack had been more centred. Amazingly, after pulling himself from the dalek, only then is it shown that the attack actually penetrated a few inches into the dalek armor, a first ever in dalek history by a melee attack! This attack launched the dalek through 2 floors, now putting the fight in the dining area. The attack, however, caused severe damage to much of the shapeshifters tissue, stunning him for surprisingly only a couple seconds. The dalek now opens fire at point blank range...

In Little America:

when her arms came down, she felt the foreign objects imbedded into her spidersilk shirt. she picked them, noticing the small tear in her shirt.
"this is my best shirt!" she replied as if speaking to the bone fragments in an upset scolding tone, "tho I have to admire such strange choice of weapon," inspecting it for anything before tossing them to the side. she picked the rest out and randomly tossed them aside also.
"your are gunna be quite fun after all," speaking aloud as if to someone. she did a twirl, simple arcane words and her shirt began to stitch itself back together (spell- mending). "much better. now lets get back to the barbeque shall we?"
sword sheathed, and a dagger drawn and placed in her mouth, the girl did a back handspring, jumping to hands then back to her feet as few times (like a gymnast or catwoman). Inriia did a glace around of below, but her pyrotechnics were a bit of a hindrance. Seeing in the infrared spectrum at times were annoying, and the fires cast to many heatshadows. closing her eyes, she readjusted to normal vision, the smoke providing a cover for the male.
She was tempted to use her best defensive spell, of which she only had a few to begin with, but decided to wait, choosing instead a lesser one (shield).
growing bored that he hadnt sent anymore missiles, she stepped to the edge of the roof, then did a backwards flip off. head first she angled her body, the girl felt the freeness of falling, the rush of adrenoline- her body picking up speed as she fell. she passed thru the smoke, supressing a cough. when she guessed to be about 9 feet from the ground she enacted her levitation and slowed her descent. again her boots touched down silently onto the pavement. looking around, it was hard to see anything and she had no idea where he'd gone. dagger before her she waited a moment.
"come out to play?" she whispered, not totally stupid enough or bored enough to reveal her position- yet.
an ebon finger tapped her chin in thought at what she could do. dextrous hand went thru the motions and she whispered the words. around her a pale green mist began to gather and spreed out. (spell- stinking cloud) the nauseating vapors spreading in the vicinity out to 20 feet around her, 20 feet high. free hand pulled loose material and covered her nose, thankful drow did not have as developed senses of smell as their sight and hearing.

Spider, Little America
Spider and Amber slowly climbed down into the street and entered the store, looking for anything that could help. They searched for a minute, then Spider picked up a pistol and some ammo and put it in his jacket. Then a smell filled the room, acompanied by a green mist. It smelled worse than anything he had ever smelt before. He nearly threw up, and Amber did.
Spider grew a thorn and threw it outside.
"Can you see her?"
"No, She is in the gas."

Spider slowly and silently stepped outside dispite the horrid stench.

He gazed around, trying to see through the gas. After staggering for twenty second he sees her. But not until after she sees him.

Instincts kick in and his hands starts to jerk around. Then out of his fingers burst razor sharp claws. Blood dripped and sinew hung from his hands.

He then dashes at the drow with his partially healed legs, and lunges at her with his blood stained claws.

she herself nearly hurried from the gas, thinking he was not around. when at the last minute she spotted the dark shape heading her way. dagger out she twirled into a defensive parry before her to block the oncoming weapons. claws met with adamantine, the bone clanking with metal. but the weight of the male human(?) was more than her own and he bowled her over to the ground. her head hit concrete; tiny little light exploded in her vision as it doubled. breath whooshed explosively out of her lungs. he fought to rip at her throat (or where ever your attempting to attack). hot liquid ran down the back of her head. and if it could be seen, stained with red. her focus was nearly gone. the nauseating cloud still hanging around. then something else took over. using the pain to fuel her fury, her glowing eyes grew more intense shade of crimson.
He was crushing her in sheer weight, claws raked on her darkly skin drawing deep red lines as she fought to push him away. deep within her throat she growled an almost demonic growl. images of when she was younger fought their way to her mind. horrific memories that nearly left her an empty shell of person and mentally unstable. this male's face in her mind became his face. she heard his laughs, his mocking voice.

digging deep inside herself, blood trickling from gashes and his own mixing with hers, she pulled power from her bloodline. fingers turned into claws herself, teeth grew sharper and slightly elongated. with a deep breath she gave a final shove to attempt to fling him over her head on onto his back.

--
((if doesnt toss him off-
she took in a deep breath again, and released a cloud of strength sapping pure negative energy. she had to weaken him enough to get him off of her before he shredded her, the dagger still attempting to hold him at bay would not much longer. Inriia maneuvered her foot for a low blow to the groin.

((if it works, tosses him off-
she hoped up onto her feet with little effort, her sword appearing, as if by magic, the speed in which she drew it. dagger and sword in clawed hands the drowess pivoted in a blur of motion. she then came on him like a 500 pound tiger on its fifth espresso. blades before her, darkness trailing behind the sword, and went in for a strike at a vital area other blade moving to parry any oncoming blow of his raking claws ))

Golden Sands Resort-Proteus
Proteus winced where he was, unwilling to chase his armoured foe down into unknown territory. He had panicked at the start, no doubt about it; that blast had hurt, whatever energy it was it was like nothing he'd ever felt before. He held no desires to feel the full brunt of such a shot. At first he'd attacked recklessly, foolishly in this strange weightless arena. Though condensing the material in his arms had scored a hit the reprecusions meant it was hardly worth it. Now with the thing's weapon aimed squarely at him was the time for action, not thought. His legs shrivelled away, like a time lapse of a growing shoot in reverse, as a tendril of flesh tore free of his back hooking onto the ground behind him and propelling him backwards. Deadly light filled the air he had just vacated as he continued his momentum through the air, flying backwards. Taking the moments he had to think, it seemed that there was no gravity here. The tendril trick had worked once and would likely do so again. The large tubular muscle extending from his back split in half with a wet ripping noise and in its place were two smaller tendrils.

His legless body then began its dash through this strange arena, the pair of barbed tendrils from his back stabbing slightly into ground, walls debris; anything and everything became a tool for slowly increasing his momentum. In an arena without gravity he quickly built up speed, his form beginning to streamline. Skin and false clothes melted away forming into smooth pink flesh, pigments flushed through his system and he slowly came to match the shade of the beach around him. By now his opponent had emerged from the wreckage of their first exchange, floating on some bizzare alien tech. Damm thing, you're telling me it can fly?!. Nonetheless his bizzare form and means of transport had started to put some distance between the two fighters. His cammoflague and the floating sand and debris further obscurred him, not that this stopped the Dalek who began opening fire. Cursing whatever god had chosen this thing as his opponent Proteus continued his acceleration, aiming for the buildings where he could loose it for a time.

With scorched and fused metal and wood behind him he vanished into one of the larger buildings, his opponent no doubt beginning his pursuit. He needed time to think. Right, it can propbably fly, that gun shreds on a miss and that armour hurts like hell. Either I need to find the computer core or whatever's opperating that thing. Vanishing into the nooks and crannies of the building he began a slow and painful evolution, his stomach needed toughening and the acid needed its potency increased. He hoped he had the time.

Circle Of Death - Chronos

It seemed Gimit was dazed, or confused in some way, because he had cast some spells, but never lethatl ones, never effective ones, and most of all, never finished ones. There were some lights, some sounds, all very confusing, but nothing that damaged. At frs, Chronos had tried to evade everything, dodging left and right, until he tried to block one of those lights...
Nothing happened.

Was Gimit trying to cast Illusions? Chronos didn't know, he certainly wasn't affected by it. Nor was there any change on Gimit himself or the Arena. Or wait, maybe there was? Maybe the whole arena, Gimit himself, and every action Chronos executed wasn't real? Maybe the lights and sounds were a distraction to cast a whole other reality! Chronos had seen it before: It had made humans believe there had been something called The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. But it couldn't be, it shouldn't. There was no way someone in this contest was skilled enough to compare his powers to one of the gods. The closest to them was he himself, Chronos.

Having cleared his mind of all these doubts Chronos proceded to attack. He made himself fall, knees first on top of Gimit. That sounded like a real hit! Or at least, it seemed like a real hit. Gimit vanished, letting Chronos just hit the floor. Now the hell broke loose. Chronos hurt himself? NEVER! He charged at Gimit, giving himself a propulsion with his wings at the last moment and produced a combo like you would only see in videogames. In his head resounded his combat moves he'd taught himself: Knees, stomach, double hit on the shoulders and finally a blow with your elbow on his neck.

Gimit fell.

Spider, Little America
Spider was thrown by the drow onto his back. Stunned by her strength, he looked up at her. A blade already in her hand. She swung at his throat. Spider rolled back and her blade hit into the concrete, leave a crevace where it hit.

Spider aimed at her throat, all the while still on the ground. Then three shards of razor sharp bone launched out of his wrist already covered in blood. He grabed then and threw them at her. They shot through the air and hit the drow. They missed their target but hit her in the chest. This time each shard broke not only the spidersilk, but also pierced her dark flesh.

Each Bolt of bone penatrated at least two inches. Luckily for the Drow none hit her organs.

Culicade clung to the top of the cave as much as it pained her to have prey so close she knew that attacking someone with the kind of power the wizard below her possessed without some kind of plan of attack would almost certainly lead to her destruction. Culicade's ruminations continued until her attention was diverted by a most bizarre sight, her foe seemed to be intently molding the entire cave floor with only the movements of his staff. She lay dormant almost hypnotized be the fluid movements of the clay until the wizard finished his spell creating what could only be described as an impossibly large frog from the mud. As the wizard assumed a more relaxed stance Culicade realized that this was most likely a plan on his end, If he used himself as bait to lure her down she would be almost guaranteed to enter the frogs field of vision. Culidcade released the rock ceiling, on one hand she knew that a direct assault was just what the wizard had planned for on the other hand her hunger made staying still feel like a torture worse than anything an oversized frog could do.

Culicade Broke into a nosedive. She was well aware of the fact that both of her adversaries would be expecting her but it didn’t matter, if she acted quickly enough she could hopefully end things before either of them had a chance to properly intercept her. Sliding an enormous hypodermic needle out of her coat Culicade flipped herself right side up and landed between the human and frog pausing only to get a better idea of his position before charging him with inhuman speed. As she came within stabbing range she felt herself suddenly come to a stop as something tugged on the back of her lab coat, the wizard gently pulled the needle from her hand, turned it into a piece of straw and started chewing on it, his plan had come into fruition without a hitch.

Culicade turned herself around and lunged at the frog's front legs and grabbed on, while she couldn’t fight against the pull directly she could still use the creatures size to anchor herself. Resisting the tongue's pull Culicade clung onto the beasts leg for what felt like an eternity until a slight ripping sound filled the air followed by the frogs tongue returning to its mouth with only a small piece of cloth. Culicade would have breathed a sigh of relief had her mouth not been wounded and partially filled with her own blood, apparently the frogs tongue had only gotten a grip on a small section of her coattails and the force of their tug of war had ripped the section in question clear off. Culicade released her grip on the frogs leg and plunged a needle into it’s bulging eye causing it's owner to reel back in pain then make a panicked leap off the platform into the magma below, she then picked herself up and returned her attention to the smell of human blood, with the wizards construct eradicated there was nothing that stood between her and her meal.

Oshgosh - Magma cavern

Oshgosh watched as his new creation burned in the pits. His attention diverted just long enough for that cursed thing to strike.

The culcicade lunges forward pulling a new syringe out, Oshgosh steps backwards, he aim goes awry and the syringe plants firmly in his leg.

For a brief moment, his intellect took over. How long has it been since I felt pain? He wondered. Years? decades? Only for the briefest of moments before his instinct took over and he let out a sharp yell of pain.

The creature, ever so fast, manged to pull up the syringe out, partially filled with his blood.

Oshgosh, barely able to speak through this forgotten sensation of pain, speaks out Foul beast, I know not what magic created you, but I know what magic shall end you.

He quickly spins the head of his staff at her, she barely has time to register that the flashing gem was dangerous before dodging, a beam of blackest energy flashes directly into the syringe, missing her arm by inches thanks to her quick move, and to her shock it dissolves into dust. All the blood, the precious delicious blood gone.

Through pure willpower, the monster manages to take her attention off her lost blood and dodge the barrage of black beams leaping from the wizard. But what to do, stay and face him and his disintegration magic, or fly off to prepare giving him time to cast more spells.

Spider, Little America
The blades slashed and cut into Spider. Blood sprayed across his already red coat, and drenched the dagger.
Then Spider saw the dagger, it stabbed into his face with surprising accuracy. The majority of the blade hit his right eye.Spiders glasses shattered. He recoiled for a second. Blood pouring from his severely damaged eye.

Then with a grin he removed the dagger, and threw it back at the drow. The dagger missed completely, landing somewhere down the street and skidding along the road. Bone then ripped out of his face covering the holej.

Spider wanted a challenge and a challenge he has received. But there was no way he could battle her like this, her blades combined with her spells make her to dangerous up close.

Spider rolled backwards and onto his feet. Then with a grin he started to run to the right, into an alley.

The Drow couldn't see him anymore. Amber on the other hand had extended her observer spirit out and could see through the bone on Spiders face.

Spider ran through the alley looking for something which could help. He stopped running after a while, exhausted. He then noticed a grate into the sewers.

Spider walked towards it all the while panting to the observer spirit of Amber.
"Amber... I need... You.... to meet... me in the..... sewers... okay.."
The spirit disappeared. And a tiny grin appeared on the Contractors face.

Golden Sands Resort-Dalek

Try as it might to follow the shapeshifter, around a corner, the dalek lost sight of the shapeshifter, who had turned himself into a hanging portrait. The dalek traveled into the next room to blow up the walls in search for the shapeshifter. "You can-not hide frOM THE DALEKS!"

Having lost the dalek, even for just a time, the shapeshifter assumed his original form to urgently look for both a weapon to use against the dalek, as well as some acid to maintain his abilities. Then, a thought occured to him: How does this planet manage to maintain its temperature, and keep itself properly situated in its position? Plasma. If he could tap into the plasma conduits, that stuff was extremely dangerous. It just might break through the dalek shields. Or it might not. Or it might kill the dalek instantly, since he had little expertise in this particular field. Certainly better than ramming this thing again at any rate. So he headed off to the engineering room.

The dalek, meanwhile, was starting to close in on his position, flying intently through the hall, blowing up room after room, with huge expanses of debris behind it, the shapeshifter knew he had to get out of the room soon. Then he noticed, the air was getting thin, the dalek must have destroyed the life-support! In Doctor Who reality 1.0 or even 2.0, this would have had no effect on the dalek. In reality 9.0, however, this was a suicide attack. The shapeshifter would have to somehow aquire and direct the plasma quickly, or the whole room would blow up!

Edit is due to miswording "photogra[h," instead of "Hanging portrait." Also, I seriously misunderstood the reason why my opponent was looking for acid. This is what it read before the edit:

The search for acids, however, was going much more slowly. The only acidic ingrediants he could find were less acidic than he needed. Too bad they don't have cars here, he thought to himself. This would require some serious experimentation. Fortunately, this far into this worlds future, humans might have started developing serious medical issues, as was occuring in his reality. This may require some heavy acids. Of course it is another reality, maybe humans were nearly wiped out. After all, the place was abandoned, and precious little was working.

Due to the loss of this paragraph, I am thus forced to replace it. I have replaced it with a section about occurances in the engineering room.

in Little America:

Inriia laughed when her dagger struck home, and then pouted when he covered the hole with bone. worse when he took off down a dark alley. she was like a kitten who lost her mouse!
she slumped her shoulder, now attending to the foreign objects in her chest. holding her breath, she roughly yanked them out, nearly passing out from pain and the newly flowing blood. too much blood loss she knew all to well what would happen. hurrying out of the slowly fading gas, she leaned against a wall, a building of strange shiney objects but ignored them.
reaching into her pack she pulled the half mask of the Masked Lord. this was not enchanted like the priest's own, but hers had some benefits useful now. the activated rune glowed with a soft blue light and worked on the most series wounds. blood stopped pouring out, but it was not healed completely. only a temporary fix to get her thru the worst. she wiped some of the moisture off her brow and leaned against the wall for a few moments to catch her breath.
tying the mask over her face, her hand felt the dried clump on the back of her head. she grumbled to herself. sword was sheathed again as she tried to figure out what she wanted to do now. unable to remain in place and just wait around, a few arcane words removed any dried blood. (spell- presdigination). no sense leaving a path if he managed to backtrack and flank the drowess.
her piwafwi tight around her, she blurred into the shadows and stealthily headed twords the alley. peeking around the corner, it wasnt a dead end, to her dismay. meaning he could have gone any direction. looking down to the ground randomly, she spotted the hot spots of a blood trail (im guessing there is blood dripping?), and a faint, unnerving smile curved her lips. fingers ready with a spell, she whispered to herself, "here mousey. Kitty only wants to play."
she stepped into the alley searching for traps or ambushes. then as silent as the darkness she moved following his path. it led down several other alleys, the droplets directional and spaced widely indicating a run. he had gotten a good important minutes ahead of her. the girl knelt down a couple times to feel the warmth before continuing on.
another alley in this maze of a place she was forced into. the blood appeared to stop in the middle of the street. Inriia prepared to check out the metal grading when another thought happen to cross her mind briefly- was this a trap? a false trail? maybe this human looking male was much more intelligent than she originally credited him with.
her hands crackled with electricity and she sent it onto the metallic lid.

Spider & Amber, Little America
As Amber walked along through the sewer, walking along the small path which kept her from having to touch the disgusting sewage, but she bstill had to smell the stench. After a minute she found her master. Spider had already done most of the work in this area. He had been leaving tiny barely visable thorns of bone on the pipes, throughout the sewer. He walked over to the girl. His legs and chest had healed, and his face had started its repair, but blood dripped from his left wrist. Leaving red cloud of blood in the water which annoyed Spider greatly.
"Okay that should be done. Now I need to find a safe place for you to hi-"
A crackle of electricity was heard down the passage to his left. Remembering a contractor from his "earth" he immediately jumped out of the water latching onto a wall with small hooks coming out of his hands and feet. She looked back and saw Amber still standing there. He hated himself for not grabing her and protecting himself for a second, then his contractor reason returned.
No electricity passed through the water though. But something needed to have caused that electricity. He looked down the tunnel to the left. Ambers Observer Spirit rose of one of the bones point his in the right direcction. He sneaked through the sewer following the Observer spirit until she stopped. She stopped at the grate he entered with.
He took out his pistol from his jacket and aimed it at the grate.

In little America:

nothing happened. hurting more, she was feeling the pain mostly in her head. her vision went fuzzy a couple times, but she ignored it. the battle was slowly waring on her. another look around at the area, she bent down to work on the heavy metal all the while watching her peripherals. if he was gunna attack, now was the opportune time.
the grate was heavy, but she carefully moved with a bit of effort, cringing as it scraped across the concrete street, nearly dropping it onto her toes. there was no hiding her actions with so much sound. if she had been sure of the area, a dimensional door would have let her enter more secretly. why did he have to enter the stinking sewer? if he even was in there.
she stood above listening and waiting to see if she heard any noises that carried down the tunnel. the stench was overwhelming, as bad as her own spell. when nothing happened, she tapped her chin trying to think clearly. her mind was jumbled so she had no plans.
so instead she just decided on her favorite spell. hands traced the familiar pattern in air, the words sung out gathering energy. when the last phrase exited her mouth, her hands directed into the hole a pea sized ball of fire. as it traveled it grew large, filling the tunnel (spell- fireball). using the cover, she hopped down after it, landing gracefully. Inriia couldnt waste time, expecting a sneak attack. She began her next spell (spell- Shadow Phase) to turn herself semi-incorporeal.

Spider, Little America
As soon as Spider saw the pee-sized orb of fire he ducked, forgetting he was in the sewer. His head was immersed in the disgusting liquid, he disliked it greatly but was glad he did when the orb grew exploded. He could feel the heat, even though he was under what could be called water.

Then once the explosion had passed he immediately got up and looked around, pistol in hand. He immediately saw his drow foe, strangely he couldn't see her and well as he thought he should of. But he thought nothing of it and fired aimed at her head. The Bullet launched at the woman, then passed through continuing down the tunnel.

Spider was confused but he fired a second time as an instinct to his foe not dying.
He fired five shots, three passed through her body and clothes without harm, the others hit her when she was solid.

In little America:

the drowess was using her time wisely as the first missiles passed thru her. the next spell finished. dark negative aura surrounded her, a wreath of black flames crackled to life just in time (spell- death armor). Her form returned to normal as metal pierced her skin, passed between two ribs, thru her lung and out the back. another hit the outside part of her upper arm but missed the bone entirely. Inriia stumbled back a few steps. more in surprise than anything at first. but he too would receive the same injury! little comfort as she tried to maintain her balance. her knees felt weak, and she nearly collapsed while watching him struggle with identical wounds. metallic taste filled her mouth, her blood she knew as her breathing became shallow and painful.
deciding if this was it, she would take him with her.
pulling forth from the deepest reservoirs of magical energy that filled her body she gathered them together. the words chanted out, barely, but enough (spell- Phantasmal Killer) deft hands finished the gestures.
a phantasmal image of the most fearsome creature imaginable appeared in his subconscious mind. She only saw a vague shape of the image around the male as she leaned against the wall and slumped to the floor. a shaky hand reached for a healing potion in her pack.

Spider, Little America
Pain vibrated through Spiders chest and arm. Blood poured out staining his already red clothes. Spider recoiled confused about how he became wounded.
Then he saw someone start to walk towards him. It was a man wearing a long black trenchcoat, and wore a white mask on his face with a red smile and purple eyes.
"BK-201." Spider whispered as the Black Reaper took out his kunai on a cable. Frozen with fear he couldn't move. But he knew he should. The Kunai cut through the air and the Kunai wrapped around Spiders throat. Spider looked around for some thing which could protect him from BK-201's electricity. He saw only an observer spirit rise out of a Bone in the distance look at him in a confused way.

Then electricity surged down the steel cable. He experienced pain like he never had before. Spider spasmed because of the voltage.

Then it disappeared. The pain, the Black Reaper, the Kunai. It was an illusion.

Spider stood there stunned.

Culicade stared down the length of the staff, she knew that it had the potential to destroy her but she also knew that it stood between her and her meal meaning it was a problem that had to be faced sooner or later. Culicade ducked under an indescribable wave of energy produced by her foe and broke into a run, this battle had gone on long enough she desired the satisfaction that only human blood could give her. As she neared the wizard however she saw his hand deftly slid into his cloak, producing an unidentifiable liquid in a sealed glass container which he uncorked in her direction. A bright light filled her vision as she felt herself fly past the wizard and off of the platform followed by the feeling of freefall.

Culicade hovered over the lava bobbing as the hot air currents disrupted her stationary flight. She hadn’t gotten her prey just yet but despite the seeming misfortune of the preceding events she felt a wave of confidence come over her, it was safe to assume the magical flash grenade the wizard had employed had blinded them both, meaning there could possibly be a window of opportunity open to her thanks to her now concealed position. A pillar of light projected from the wizards position and moved along the ceiling, her hopes had been validated, this would be her chance to strike.

Culicade flew up to the platform only to be greeted by an unpleasant surprise, apparently her enemy had accounted for the possibility of an attack by the side as evidenced by a pair of oversized bats that she could only assume the wizard conjured to cover his flanks while he checked the ceiling. The first bat closed in only to have a hypodermic needle shoved though its head via a combination of her speed and its own momentum, the second homed in on her face only to be blinded by a shower of spit and blood causing it to loose focus on its objective and fly right past her. The wizard ceased his fruitless search of the ceiling and turned his eyes to his now revealed enemy alerted by the defeat his bat companions and readied his staff as Culicade flew into the air and dove at his position silently hoping that this would be the offensive that finally brought her victory more importantly blood.

paler and ashen now, her quaking hand brung the vial to her mouth. yanking out the cork and gulping down the sky blue liquid, she felt the magical effects begin their work. feeling return to her arm, the heavy excruciating pain in her chest subsided slightly, her breathing return more normal, and the organ began knitting itself back together. the entry and exit holes reformed tissue and covered with skin. not fully back 100%, she was revitalized enough to go on for another good fight.
with flair, she hopped up from the filth covered floor. crimson orbs glaring down the males direction as he freaked out over her last spell. it hadnt killed him. now she wasnt sure if she wanted to keep toying with him or just blast him to the abyss.
the wicked smirk returned. with ease of a practiced and skilled manipulater of energy, she finished the spell. the male found himself unable to move (spell- hold person. she is level 10). up beside him, she leaned over and whispered in the human tongue, "its been fun jaluk (male)," she teased with a slightly seductive voice simular to a torture priestess.
her hand went on his shoulder, a darkness seamed to glow on her hands as he remained held by the holding spell. he would feel the effects rather quickly. she feed off his health and repaired her own wounds as a suffering and tugging pain lanced thru him (spell- Vampiric Touch).

Frozen stiff, Spider could do nothing except watch his foe walk towards him and drain his essence. Blood continued to pour out of his arm and chest. His eyes slowly started to close. Life ebeing away. Then out of the corner of his eye he saw his Doll. He then forced himself to stay alive. For her sake.

Spider fell to the ground, shacking off the Hold Person spell. Then his body started to warp. Bone burst out of his upper wrists and covered his hands in ivory. It grew and formed two amazingly sharp Boneblades, both drenched in the blood of its wielder.

He twisted around and then slashed at his oppenent with his twin blades, with finesse and speed. Empowered by adrenaline and his own will.

Spider then slowly walked away. His opponent, unconsious on the brink of death sinking into the cespool.

Chronos - Circle of Death

Chronos was astounded by the many hits the man could take without trying to counter, without screaming for pain, and definetly without showing any emotion. He finally charged onto the man, sliding along the floor, pushing at the last second with his hand, elevating his legs into the air.
He grabbed the wizard in a headlock and turned, changing time for him personally, giving him tremendous speed, practically ripping his head of in the turn. The person (or was it a thing?) fell, head turned an 180 degrees.

Now the drawbacks were about to kick in. He would begin to move slower, much and much slower. Time had to be retreived in some way, always. Chronos hadn't wanted to show the drawbacks to the audience/opponents yet, and was now very angry at himself because of his recklessness. At that moment he got teleported out of the arena, just in time...

Proteus, Yarp Robotics
Proteus stood, unsure in this new venue. No sooner it seemed had his acid burned through metal to flesh than he found himself in this new arena. Digestive tracts broke and settled, tendrils pulled back into flesh and his form filled out, mockeries of clothing forming as he returned to human shape. His head turned this way and that, searching for details on his surroundings, a factory if he ever saw one. He'd seen more than enough fighting military to recognise the signs, even if the purpose wasn't yet obvious.

He began to jog, his oponent hadn't made themselves obvious yet, there would be one no doubt. It would be best to appear little more than human when they did. Internally slick grinding noises were all that gave indication of his bones hardening and spreading forming something closer to an exoskeleton just below his skin.

Turning the corner sudden fright and racing heart led to the decapitation of a scrap robot. Its arm and right side defective, discarded from the floor; the first indication of the factory's purpose. Panting with bladed arm melting back to normal Mark chuckled "I guess that means they weren't my opponent."

Chronos - Yarp Robotics
A flash.
And there he stood again. Chronos found himself in a large concrete building. He could see different parts of things, some chainsaws, some loose electricity cables, some melting machines, and more, all indicating this was a factory. Chronos couldn't yet determine what they were building here until he saw their heads: Robots.
Ugh, robots. He hated artificial intelligence. It's what once destroyed planet centricon II V. He loathed them and wanted to destroy them, even before they were made. He wanted to rip them apart, to melt them, to....

First: His enemy.
Proteus should be here somewhere Chronos thought.
He carefully walked stealthly through the heaps of garbage and walls. At one moment, he noticed him, just behind a car-like robot.
If he wanted the element of surprise, Chronos had to act fast. Improvising his weapons, he grabbed two circular saws, began spinning them around and threw them simultaniously at Proteus. Chronos then moved away fastly, as to not reveal his exact location.

The saws flew towards Proteus

Protues, Yarp Robotics
Credit where credit is due, Chronos made barely a sound. As he armed himself and threw his deadly payload the barest whisper was given until it was too late. Unforgettably for him his opponent wasn't exactly operating on standard levels of perception. By the time the blades had left his opponents hand's protues was already running, enhanced hearing having alerted him to the danger. Diving under the car shaped thing in front of him he heard a pair of thunks as the jagged blades sunk into metal. Strange, I only head one.

His opponent was strong, but how strong and what other abilities were yet to be perceived. His face twisted and warped, extra eyes growing across his forehead as hair shrunk back into his scalp. Legs thinned and compacted as he built himself up for running, the exoskeleton he had built thinning to shift into muscle mass. Within his arms bone and muscle fused and twisted into a hollow tube filled with a razor sharp spike of bone; ready to tear its way free of his palms in a surprise attack. He then hit his feet running searching for his opponent ready to deliver his surprising and deadly payload.

Chronos - Yarp Robotics

Chronos couldn't believe his eyes. The moment the saws left his hands the creature known as Proteus almost vanished in his movement to avoid them. "This one is fast!" Chronos thought, as he looked around, trying to come up with a bright new plan. As of right now, Chronos still had the element of surprise, as he remained hidden, and knew Proteus location.

Proteus though, had enhanced perception, to be able to dodge like that. Chronos needed a distraction: Something to keep Proteus attention away from the real attack. Something that wouldn't be percepted; silent, still.
He then thought of a (according to himself) brilliant idea.

He looked around and saw two pointy pipes, which he launched at the sides of Proteus. This way, he wouldn't dodge, but would still be distracted. He used all the power he could muster to throw them at the fastest speed possible. He then teleported a car not-visible to Proteus, to the exact spot above him. Chronos teleporting is non-audible, so he hoped this plan would work. Proteus would be too distracted by the pipes to notice the car falling on top of him.

This had to work, if it didn't, Chronos would've betrayed his location and thereby maybe doomed himself...

Spider, Psibur.rena
Spider openned his eyes as the world configured around him. Everything was built of beams of light causing everything to look like old wireframe graphics. Except for the floor which showed a map of Old Earth. To his left was Amber.
He slowly walked to the black door and appeared out in a corridor, and started to look around for his opponent.
Amber appeared in the Corridor a second later.

Proteus, Yarp Robotics
Pipes flew at high speed and Proteus wasn't sure he could dodge them, they were fast. Too fast. Time seemed to slow down to a crawl for those present, adrenaline overwhelming for the brush of a moment. Muscles in his legs corded, wound then sprung in a leap as the organs in his torso pushed their way forward.

With a pair of sickening cracks and tearing noises two pieces of metal entered through his sides, scythed through his weakened skeleton and clean out the other side trailing flesh behind them. Proteus rolled forward, a slam indicating the unseen car slamming into the ground behind him.

Time then resumed its normal flow for them, heart catching up with his body as adrenaline reached its zenith and the pain and blood blossomed. The quartet of holes in his form pumping blood before bone swiftly grew in the seal the gaps, blood-vessels resealing and redirecting. He allowed himself a roar of pain. He spun round, drunk on pain for a moment, incredulous that his foe was now standing behind him before turning to attack. Chronos was fast it seemed, too fast and too mobile to allow proper observation time. Even as he ran the flesh warper's body was twisting and changing. False clothes and skin melted back into flesh coloured simplicity. Hips and legs cracked and broke, reforming into a digitgrade stance for sprinting even as he ran, barely faltering in his stride.

Leaping at his foe proteus slammed his hands in from either direction, each eager to eject razor sharp spikes of condensed bone from his now fingerless palms into his opponent.

Chronos - Yarp Robotics

Chronos was happy his plan worked. Or at least.... It seemed to work. He didn't expect for Proteus to actually take those pipes to evade the car. How did he know the car was coming? It should've been silent!
Proteus ducked forward to evade it and immediatly thereafter he stood up and ran. It was a good move, seeming how Chronos already was behind him. At the last moment though, Proteus turned and was ready to hit Chronos in two vital spots at the same time, with his now fingerless hands.
Fingerless? He had fingers just a while ago... How can this...? HE'S A SHAPESHIFTER! was what he could think before he got hit.

It burned, it pierced, it was painful and Chronos showed it by screaming. His head throbbed, pain taking over his senses. "No, not yet" He thought, and time reverted. The spears went back, the pain dissapeared, and Proteus turned once again to attack.
Knowing what was coming, Chronos grabbed one hand and threw Proteus on the ground, making his strength his weakness. He hadn't expected Proteus firing at the last minute, and thus was Chronos again he pierced: This time through his shoulder. "Wew, that was a close one.." Chronos thought.

Then the pain took over,

And Chronos began to rage again.

Protues, Yarp Robotics
Proteus grimaced as he slammed into the ground, clear fluid leaking briefly from where his hand blade broke off. What was supposed to be a clean stab had been avoided by the sudden grab, bone blade built for forward stabbing they didn't survive a sideways jump. With one of his weapons snapped clean off proteus swore, fear starting to mingle with pain. First the spears and now this, he was loosing biomass in dribs and drabs. Less to work with, less to survive.

His opponent was on the offensive now, showing that surpising strength again. Arms flattening out into shield like barriers it was all Proteus could do to keep fist and improvised weapons from breaking him. Whenever he thought he could break through the attack his opponent would parry at the right moment, always seeming to know the right moment to dodge. This was bad.

Fighting a teleporter who clearly knew how to handle themselves in a brawl, he couldn't keep up in a traditional sense and he couldnt effectively run either... what do I do?!

This time Chronos' fist slipped straight through his guard, and impacted with his chest... which simply gave. It was like punching a particularly soft pillow, no bones or similar were evidenced. Octopi have it right Protues' head simply melted down into his body, on the edge of hearing the highest of noises suggesting the shape shifter no longer relied on visual means. The hardened forms of his arms then set about a counter-attack, their now flexible shapes aiming to simply batter his opponent with raw concussive force,

Chronos - Yarp Robotics

Chronos was happy, no, euphoric. His attacks were fast, precise and most of all damaging. He was cornering Proteus, and was doing so fast. Somehow though, Proteus managed to defend himself agains all the different attacks from different fighting styles Chronos presented to him.

Finally Chronos broke through, hitting Proteus in the center of his chest, with one rapid thrust. Proteus flinched, and Chronos hit again, this time only finding hard bone, unmovable, unshokable. And then it happened:

Proteus head dissapeared. It sunk back into his body, sprouting arms at the same time. No, scratch that, tentacles, it sprouted tentacles. The tentacles seemed to have some type of bone-structure around it, forming an exosceleton. Chronos, too slow to react, after all these changes was immediatly grappled by six tentacles at the same time. The two left began punching him. Thud. Thud. Thud.

The only sounds that could be heard were the demped punches hitting Chronos body. Crack. One rib broke. Crack. Another one.
Chronos had by now pretty much turned into a punching bag for Proteus. He had to do something, but it had to be fast, and it had to be NOW!

Away he thought, and suddenly Proteus was punching his own tentacles. Chronos was up near the ceiling, and using his black wings to fly. Calling upon the strands of time the ribs reverted to their old healed position, and Chronos was ready to fight again. He elevated himself once more and dove, to slam into Proteus with his full body capacity.

His body began to tremble, while diving, like turbulence to a human plane. Not now! he thought. He had overexerted his powers it seemed. His body began to dislocate as a consequence of the teleporting. His body randomly teleporten a feet in a random direction, rendering the control Chronos had over his own body useless. But not only that. He suddenly seemed to slow down. Time was catching up, and needed a lot to recover. Chronos barely moved now.

He was completely surrendered to Proteus mercy.

The Culicade
She smelled at the air trying to find her target. Nothing, nothing at all. Annoyed she looked around. Seeing a blank door she drifted towards it slowly. Immediately as she touched it she disappeared and reappeared in a dark near-empty corridor. On only other thing in the corridor was a girl who looked human. The smell of her blood filled the air in a way that seemed to taunt the abomination.

A few minutes ago, with Spider and Amber
They wandered through the corridor for a minute, but the path quickly end into two different programs. Spider simply handed Amber a shard of bone and split up. Spider went into the program on the left. Amber the program on the right. Spider was now standing on a giant chessboard. His view blocked by colossal figures of steel.
"This is ridiculous." Muttered the contractor just as his hand healed.

All the while Amber silently stumbled onto a giant typewriter. With each step a word imprinted into her mind. After a minute or two she found her way across to the other side of the room. Amber digitised in the middle of another corridor her masters foe yards away.

Ambers observer spirit rose out of a cut in Spiders hand.
"Amber found her."

I never kicked a girl once... It's not normal to do that! resounded in his head, and his kick slowed down. Still in confusion with himself he tried to punch her. The same sentence resounded in his head. This time, though, he did finish his attack, in a slapping motion, to be precise

Your slap leaves a red hand print on the face 5 foot tall girl. Strangely she doesn't respond in anyway to it. Nothing. She didn't even flinch. No response other than a single tear. She didn't try to dodge and their was no emotion in her face.
Two halls away Spider hearing the elevator starts to return to his companion.

As Spider turned the corner anger sparked in his mind. He could see Amber, obviously in pain and his foe. A serrated blade of ivory tore from his wrist. He would have winced were it not for rage fueled adrenalin. Spider forgot about that he was in a competion and leapt at his foe thinking of nothing but protecting Amber.

Chronos was confused. The girl, his opponent, didn't seem to show any sign of real adversity. How could she have survived until the finals? Then another person appeared, someone who charged at Chronos, while peeling something off his skin. We're there two of them? That wasn't allowed! None of his battles had more than one opponent.

His opponent(s) though, were full of openings for attack. The girl didn't do anything at all, and as such Chronos attacked the other one. "Maybe she's part of the scenery?" Chronos thought while his fist made contact with the stomach of his male adversary.
"Maybe she's part of the stage, as she hasn't attacked me yet"
Chronos foot hit the upper leg of the man.

Spider
Spider found himself confused for a split-second his lunge was somehow stopped, then a swift kick slamed into Spider's leg. He staggered slighty, but quickly regained his balance.
Then as soon as he did he leapt backward doing a flip, just as a sharp shard of bone ripped through his hand. Then mid-flip he tossed it at his enemy. He landed a few feet away.
Spider slowly postioned his sword into a defensive stance, slightly distracted still by his companion. Glancing at her repeatedly, while his contractor mind told him to watch his opponent.

Chronos saw his opponent retreat, doing a backwards flip. Suddenly, there was also a sharp bone coming through the air. Chronos just managed to evade it, the bone leaving a cut in his arm.
"That hurt, you @#%^&!!!!"
His adversary didn't seem to be concentrated on him anyways, so it didn't bother him. He seemed to be looking at the girl constantly. Maybe she was an ally of his...

Chronos moved towards the girl, and was about to kick her, when suddenly another bone flew through the air, almost hitting him in the face. I knew it!
Chronos charged at the girl, watching out for the bone that could be coming from the man at the other end of the room. Knowing he wouldn't get near the girl, Chronos teleported, suddenly leaving the visible spectrum of the man, and reappearing behind him, and with Chronos fist coming at him.

Spider threw sharrd after shard. Making sure that he wouldn't lay another finger on her. His anger causes his accuraccy to decrease.
"What? Wher-"
His opponent disappeared. A kick hit into the confused characters in the back, send vibrations through the contractors body. Instantly Spider twisted around trying to hit his attacker with his blade. His aim slowly returning to normal, as his contractor mind overrided his emotion.

Chronos plan had worked, he had him now. Suddenly though, his opponent didn't stagger anymore, and instead turned, a sword slicing through the air. It was going to hit Chronos for sure!
Chronos slowed down time, giving him enough time for the sword to miss a vital spot. It still sliced his other arm, though, so now Chronos found himself with two cuts, one in each arm.

Then he thought of another strategy: Using the environement. He teleported behind the girl, and held her on her place, hoping she wouldn't be too much of a struggle, using her as a human (could she be called human?) shield. He then started throwing stuff from the office: pencils, tape, computer parts. Everything to hit the male. He wasn't that strong at ranged attacks, but his opponent wouldn't attack him anyways, and íf he came close, chronos melee would be useful once again.

Spider looked around looking for where you teleported, then he saw the Doll.
She didn't resist in anyway, she didn't react in anyway.
He felt slightly annoyed, that bastard is using her as a shield. As tiny "things" collided with Spider logic overrode emotion.

Spider grew more bone out making his blade slightly longer, but now the part connecting it to his body was only about a millimetre wide. He grabbed the blade with his other hand, and snapped it off from his arm.

Blade in hand he rolled to the side, using a nearby Office Cubicle and Desk as cover. He looked over his cover and tried to aim his new weapon into his foes arm (I'm guessing he has one arm across her chest when holding her).

Chronos adjusted his arm, to restrain the girl a little better. His enemy now moved behind a desk. Chronos chuckled; he had complete control over the fight now. He had a hostage, might over time (although limited) and most of all, might over objects, as he could move them at will. As such, he did so.
He teleported the desk in front of Spider, to just above him, hoping it would slam down on him. Suddenly though, a shard of bone came straight at him, piercing his arm.
"He's willing to sacrifice her to become the winner?" Chronos calculations seemed to have been wrong the whole time. He had to release her, to treat his wounded arm. Hopefully the desk would still hit him, giving Chronos enough time to restraint the girl again.

Spider
The second his cover disappeared he decided not to wonder where it went and instinct caused his to throw his shard. Spider hoped he didn't hurt Amber, but he couldn't be sure.
Then a crushing pain forced him to the floor.
"Aargg" he grunted.
From his postion he could see his foe release the girl, but at any moment he could turn back and grab her.
"Air-mem-bur arre you hurrt?" he said in a feeble attempt to talk.
"Yes." Replied a cold and empty voice.

As Spider struggled to move the desk off him without using his powers but he found it difficult, his regeneration only now starting to stop his internal bleeding. Still trying to get the obstruction off his back, he whispers
"Amber run."
He hoped she heard, but he couldn't be sure.

Their was a crunch and then the table raised off Spider back. Raised by spires of ivory which have ruptured out of his back.
He slowly stood up. Reached around to his back with both hands and ripped off a Spire each.
He leapt at his foe, using his bone weapons as if swords, slashing at his winged enemy. Adrenilin pumping through his veins making sure that if his foe dodge he would adapt his attack.

Chronos saw the girl run away. He saw his opponent lift the desk too. He had lost the advantage. Somehow his opponent came charging at him to fight weapon-melee agains his bare fists. Too bad for him Chronos fists were stronger.

Chronos saw the blade coming at him, and slowed down time. He now had the chance to hit. One, two strikes at the chest, and one on the neck. Next he would sunder the blades. He struck at one, attempting to break it. He immediatly took a step back, just before time began to flow normally again. He leapt at his adversary, trying to hit him, but he held up a sword, which would've skewered Chronos, weren't it for the instant teleportation, now hitting Spider in his back. Chronos then noticed that while trying to break the sword, he had cut himself. "That sharp?"
