Character Help...

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and also fairly new to D&D and I need some help with a character.

Race

Human

Stats

Int : 14
Dex: 16
Str: 10
Wis: 13
Cha: 14
Con: 10

Feats

Two Weapon Fighting
Weapon Focus
Expeditious Dodge
Leadership (I need this as through luck I have 30 pirates at my command)

So far I'm a Swashbuckler 5 / Rogue 1 and I plan to end up as
Swashbuckler 5 / Rogue 3 / Fighter 2 / Dervish 10

Now the DM has OK'd this but he thinks that I will be over-shadowed by everyone else. (He thinks a single class is better)

Everyone else being 2 Fighters, 1 Bard, 1 Cleric, 1 Paladin and a Sorcerer, none of which are multi-classing as far as I know.

All advice is welcome

I fail to see why leadership is needed to command 30 pirates, but I digress...

First of all: your cohort. What do you have in mind?

Second: What kind of advice are you looking for?

Regarding the leadership thing DM said that if I didn't take it I would start loosing my pirates.

Cohort: I have not given this much thought

My goal in game is to over-throw the pirate king and take command of the pirate nation....

I probably need some one who can do a lot of sneaking etc

Advice: I should have been more clear in my first post. I want to know if my dervish build will not be over-shadowed by the other players and if so what can I do about it. my other choice would have been Swash 16 / Rogue 4. Both with daring outlaw
