Increasing Spell Resistance

I have recently cast upon myself the Axiomatic Creature spell (BoED) and I have SR 25. The problem is, at level 17, SR 25 is not that useful, as most enemies have less than a 50% chance of being resisted.

Does anyone know of any equipment that will increase current SR?

I think the feat Awaken Spell Resistance in the Draconomnomnomnomnomnomicon will help. Its been a while since I read it.

There is also an item in the DMGII, I believe a vest slot item, that increases your SR by a certain amount. Again, AFB...

Well, the vest is just what I was looking for. Sadly, I would have to give up my dispelling cord, but I can work with that.

Are there any items that would stack with it?
