My Itunes won't work (Please Help)

My Itunes stops working whenever I plug my Ipod into the computer. Help? :smallannoyed:

It started doing this an hour or so ago, I just got a new computer and didn't have this probelm at first. It would freeze at times, but not often. Also, Itunes wiped my Ipod and didn't accept my Itunes backup discs from my old library. Except the first one, that is.

EDIT: It started working again (unfroze), but it doesn't register my Ipod being plugged in despite my Ipod having the charging symbol in the top right corner.

If you havent, try reinstalling itunes. I've have a similar experience and that seemed to help (I assume you are running windows).

Also, try to set your preferences so that the new devices do not sync automatically.

If all else fails, then yes, reinstall iTunes - that solves a lot of issues.

I ended up backing up my Ipod and re-syncing it, as wel las reinstalling Itunes. That seems to have worked. Thanks for the advice, it helped!
