Hey All:

I'm running a 3.5 game this friday, and was wondering if anybody could help me pick out a good adventure for the party.

The setting is going to be homebrewed, so I need something that can be setting neutral.

The group is a party of 3, all undecided as to their classes, so I need something that doesn't absolutely require certain skill sets.

After that, everything is game. Thanks for the help!

Most tend to be one-shot. Give 'em a quick glance and pick.

Thanks. I Might try "Secret of the Windswept Wall."

Any other suggestions? I'm not averse to picking up books.

If you're willing to pick up books then maybe you're willing to check out magazines. There's a filterable index of Dungeon Magazine adventures here (http://intwischa.com/dungeon/).

Just read through them first. They will need fixing.

For instance, the level 1 adventure "Wreck Ashore" has all the NPCs running around with masterwork swords and crossbows. And a fistful of potions.

Then, in their lair, there's hundreds of gold pieces worth of loot. And, nestled in between three casks of glassware (15 gp each) and nineteen casks of oil (2 gp each) is fifteen hundred ingots of copper (15 gp each).

That's 22,500 gp. In pure copper. For a one-shot adventure for a 1st lvl party.

Seriously. WTH? Doesn't anybody read this stuff? 15 ingots of copper would have been plenty. The other loot plus the pirate's gear is over 6,000 gp, but at least you could argue they have to take 50% or less for selling it secondhand. But the copper is pure metal. Strike it into coins and you're golden. So to speak.

Allow me to do a huge recommendation for the Tomb of Haggemoth. (http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/the-tomb-of-haggemoth/872128)

It starts at level 3 and goes to around level 7 or 8. It's technically setting generic, however it has its own little region of exploration.

I've ran it twice with two different groups, and both loved it. There's a good variety of play options, its well written, and I can't recommend it enough.

Update: The party wants a session with a nautical feel. Any ideas?

Dude, tomb of haggemoth. You hire a ship and go to various lands and islands and fight pirates and stuff.

Downloaded. I just wanted a few options before I hopped into a full-on campaign. This will be their 1st aquatic adventure.

Thanks for the help -- it looks like its gonna be a fun ride.
