Hey guys
I'm building an Aiel warrior

Scout 16
Monk 2 for Improved unarmed strike, 2 bonus feats, and evasion

I'm looking at the alternate monk styles, specifically Krabi-Krabong
which has short spear as a special monk weapon and gives proficiency in all shields (except tower)
Fits like a glove.
Ok, so my question is since Krabi-Krabong gives shield proficiency can I use a buckler and still keep the
monk's bonus to ac?
I'm thinking probably not but I figured I'd ask.
Thanks

*Also, how often do yall post something just to have it lost because of the database backup o_O teh suck

I would try a level of Ninja and then the feat Acetic Stalker so you get some invisibility powers to go with the whole Aiel image. You can then progress either unarmed damage or sudden strike.

Also, how handy is Free Movement?
If i'm going scout 16 should I just go ahead and go to 18 for it?

Floating shield doesn't match fluff wise and i've heard that didn't work anyway.
*Edit: I'll probably just suck it up and lose wis bonus and flurry.

Well, seeing as bucklers only give you +1 AC, I don't think it'd be unreasonable to convince your DM to allow you to wield it and still get the monk's bonuses as well.

Also, Wheel of Time themed characters ftw.

Yea the Aiel are awesome.

So as of right now the Build is
Monk2
Scout16
(scout being first for the skill points)

What should I finish him up with?
Fighter2 for the bonus feats,
Ranger2 with swift hunter,
or
Scout2 for free movement

Swift Hunter is always fun in my opinion
