Hello there!
Being quite new to the PnP world, I'm starting soon a D&D 3.5 game as a lv1 Strongheart halfling druid with a lance, riding a dog.
Maybe a bit harsh to play as a newbie, but it looked fun enough.
We are in a Faerun campaign, low-magic setting, we will earn xp relatively slowly (I guess reaching level 7-8 would be high-end).
So, I would like some advices about how playing it efficiently at relatively low level.
- What spells should I use? Should I favour damage, crowd control, buff, healing?
- What prestige class would be useful? (maybe a 3 level dip of Wild plains outrider)
- Any early tactics/combo with this druid rider?
- And if you have any beginner adventurer tips, I'm all ears (like throwing an oil flask for "lesser grease", then setting it on fire... or using a mirror for spying on corners, or blinding/distracting a wizard outdoors)
Or, if you have something else to say, don't hesitate!
Thanks for your time!
