Just found the Untapped Classes (http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/d/dreamscarredPress/untappedPotential) section on Paizo's site. Has anyone downloaded any of these and played them? They look kind of interesting, but I'd rather have some kind of feedback on them before I decide to buy.

They're meant for 3.5, so you'd probably have your work cut out for you in conversion.

From my understanding, Dreamscarred is working on converting a lot of these over in their upcoming Psionics Expanded book.

As a bit of an aside, I think they're mostly available on the dsp srd (http://dsp-d20-srd.wikidot.com/base-classes), if you want to check them out. They were staples of my games for a while.

I'm a huge fan of the Worldthought Medic. They're the best and most interesting psionic buffer class, IMO. Society Mind is similar, but less of a support character. Their rules are a bit dense, but once you run one, they play pretty naturally.

The fighter-type combat classes (Halo Knight & Marksman) are interesting, but less stunning. The Halo Knight's kind of neat for being a melee support class, and the Kensai abilities don't hurt, but the Warblade and Crusader already do better jobs at a similar role. The Marksman fills a couple niches - a ranged attacker, a psionic archer - but is kind of boring to play, given how many rounds turn into full attacks of cover fire.

The only classes I'm unhappy with are the Formbound ones. Between dsp's shapeshifting nerf and the way they cling to the Druid's shticks without quite matching its fluff, they're a bit wonky conceptually. They do seem better balanced, though.

Pathfinder Analogues to the Worldthought Medic and Marksman are being released in Psionics Expanded. I would hold off until those are out or possibly pre-order and get access to the work in progress.

Hmm...a little disappointed that the Marksman is just another "Full Attack" class, but the Worldthought Medic was what I was most interested in anyway XD

I didn't realize they were 3.5... guess I'll wait for Psionics Expanded.

Thanks everyone!

Vitalist (Worldthought Medic) and Marksman are both already done. You have to pre-order Psionics Expanded to get access to them because they aren't on the SRD yet.

Not sure what you mean by "full-attack class." Marksman is like a psionic ranger, only it focuses on ranged attacking rather than splitting between archery and dual-wielding - but it does get a power progression (up to 4th.) It is full-BAB.

You can read the Vitalist preview here. (http://watermark.rpgnow.com/pdf_previews/91622-sample.pdf)

I might have been misleading. The Marksman has plenty of options - especially with Expanded Knowledge - but its level 4 Cover Fire ability is often very useful, allowing the Marksman to use its attack actions to block enemies' swift, move and 5-ft step actions. This can pin casters in melee range, limit monsters to a single attack, block a martial adept's boosts and recovery, and just generally foul up the opposition's action economy. It's a powerful ability that can often supersede the Marksman's other, more varied, options.

Oh, so it's what the Archer Archetype (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/archer) could have been? That sounds a lot more fun.

Maybe I'll pre-order...

Preordered (http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayingGames/p/pathfinderRPG/dreamscarredPress/v5748btpy8krr&source=search). Pretty interesting stuff. I think the feat "Hawkeye" would make Gunslingers drool.
